Re: Blueprint editor query, help please
In the new "improved" editor you right-click on the folder the .igs file is in, select "Add" then select "blueprint" option, then select the blueprint type you require.

Re: WIP Thread 8 - Anything New For RailWorks
I agree, a 3MT would be an excellent choice - an excellent loco that never got the recognition it deserved. I'm sure the JT model will be excellent, but I've already got 4 standard 4s already. *if someone makes a 3, I'll drop what I'm doing and make Stainmore. B If you make Stainmore I'll do the vi...

Re: Got rid of ridiculous cartoon loading screen
thanks eyore, but for some reason I can't get Flash Player installed on my Win 7 64 bit PC. So I can't look at any swf files. It shouldn't be a problem. Giotto works independent of flash player. All you do is load your jpegs into Giotto, adding them to a timeline, then export the timeline as a .swf...

Re: Got rid of ridiculous cartoon loading screen
Thanks for these, they are a great improvement over RSC's offerings. Can I suggest you have a look at Vectorian Giotto http://vectorian.com/ which is a free app for making your own .swf movie/slideshow files. I tried it with your background images and had a slideshow within 5 minutes that worked in ...

Re: question about purchasing 3d models from Turbosquid?
If I can add my two pennyworth? 1000000 polys is far too many and I agree with Dave that you'll spend so much time reducing the poly count that you would be better off building your own. Take a look at the thumbnails provided and you'll see the model is really very simple, just a few cylinders stuck...

Re: Packaging other peoples assets
I have thought for a long time that UKTS should add a line to their upload page where the author can indicate whether the assets can be distributed without his permission. Surely it can't be that hard to implement.
Would save a lot of bother, particularly when the author no longer follows the forum.

Struggled all day with this and had given up when I remembered there was one thing I hadn't looked at, the csv number file. The blooming thing was corrupted, not sure how, but numbers now working again!

Primarydigit problem
I have a strange issue with the TrainDecal/Primarydigits on my model. As can be seen in the photo, the wagon in front on the right was placed in game last night and the wagon number is showing ok. The wagon behind, placed this morning, has no number displayed and I can't understand why, as the only ...
