In order to solve the running over grass south of stockport problem, get the TM43.zip file and unzip the files again. Put these files into the Mersey folder then everything should be OK - It was a problem with the install.bat file deleting textures off some of the tiles (I think) Dunno about the det...

Properties of that tile are the same on mine. So... I decided to go back and look at the install.bat file for TM4 (running it for a little while, and then pulling up the scroll bar to stop it temporarily and being able to read what is being processed!). What I found was that there are a large number...

Just downloaded it, ran it through route riter and... Everythings OK (no missing files!) :D Route Riter just said about a missing winter texture for some ganteries, just replaced them with summer ones. However, when driving the route, there seems to be a problem south of Alderley Edge (Crewe/Stockpo...

Of course Liverpool Central and Liverpool Exchange still existed as proper termini inthe 1960's, and there was no Northern line and no loop line, so the whole Central area is a bit of a fiddle. I forgot about Liverpool Exchange and Liverpool Central, and the loop and link were completed in t...

I have just realised that ther are one or two additions that could be put in place in order to make the merseyrail sections a bit more realistic... 1, Where is the Leeds and Liverpool canal between Sandhills and Moorfields? It seems to have dried up  (It might help improve frame rates in this a...

Yep, it is the Maglev train, by Transrapid. If you have the Casino maglev addon by Abacus the maglevs are of simalar design, but a word of warning, the track pieces included in this addon did mess up some of my other routes, such as the LBE, which wouldn't load with both of them installed :( By the ...

:o The route looks fantastic! Keep it up! Going to Manchester as well! :D Can I ask if there is going to be a crossover at Rock Ferry to allow trains from the Liverpool Loop head towards Chester/ Ellesmere port? By the sound of things, Crewe - Manchester is included, but is the Stoke-on-Trent lines ...

'South-East Euro-MP backs radical rail review'
What do people think of this? Found it on a certain political site - I decided not to post a link to this as this might break the forum rules: "Undo Beeching cuts and double coast-to-capital links" says Lucas Green Euro-MP Caroline Lucas has backed calls for a radical overhaul of rail services betwe...
