Re: Chiltern Route
Do you mean, Rick, that I could upload the complete route as is, ie only partially sceneried, and in future updates reupload with a bit more scenery added each time? Actually, Jim, the telegraph poles I have used are Don Hinton's (apart from a few I made myself for the beginning of the route). I ce...

Re: Chiltern Route
Just one note about the telegraph wires (been a super nerd here) When they came to the last pole and went underground, you would not have a load of wires heading to the ground, but simply an insulated multicored wire would run up a conduit up the pole and the wires would spread out to each insulator...

The route is looking great! Thanks for the shots. I don't suppose you are including the crane at the end of the Trawsfynydd branch in the route at all shown at the bottom of the page in the link below? http://www.penmorfa.com/Conwy/five.htm http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q252/kaptainjimmyladd/T...

Re: Banking an AI service
One question - when you couple to an AI service, does MSTS ignore the AI path and start treating it as part of the player consist? I've noticed the AI service doesn't start on its own once the banker has attached, hence previously coupling up on the move. Seb Yes once you couple to an AI train, it ...

Re: Coal Run Activity
Part 2. Rediculouser and rediculouser Now includes American wagons - including one of mine! You start leaving Ribblehead viaduct and pass the yard containing wagons of all nations. An AI coal train passes. You set back and drop off one hopper. As you leave an A4 passes with Pendennis tender and def...

Re: Help please with guidance on lighting for locos
When you say headlights are not working as such, do you mean they do not light up the road ahead? If thats the case you need to add another statement to the lighting info called "sphere of light". It will look something like this. You can set it up so it only working in the dark, and is directional....

Re: Lydbrook Stock
To do that you need an unchanged copy of the route, and your updated version. Then routeriter will compare the two and make an updater. IIRC it can be done to keep the TDB number the same so activites dont start screaming and shouting. I often fiddle with the terain of routes myself and just manuall...

Re: S&D activity, Milky Bath
Agreed it's a good activity. One thing to note for the next time..... 6wheeled milk tanks were classed as non passenger coaching stock and were designed to run at 75MPH. Milk trains therefore nearly always had a passenger brake van as no goods brake could travel at over 60MPH. In early days there c...
