Amusing Rail Tails, sorry Tales

Not Narrow and Not Welsh but I thought you might like this one from a certain International service to which I might or might not have some connection. (Probably not after this) Coaches 9 + 10 in each set have the Toilet suitable for Wheelchair users, and is fitted with a push-button sliding door. S...

Cambrian Coast Steam Passenger Act.

Spent a couple of days creating a 45xx Passenger Activity for the Cambrian, which I think is OK.
Would anyone else be interested in testing it before I upload to UKTS, and giving me some feedback? It uses just Default Cambrian stock plus the BR(WR) B-set coaches off UKTS.

Tried adding a driver to TR8 yesterday using freightanims. I was using one of the workmen from the TR route. Problem was, once he was in the loco, he was headless Judging by the photo of Mr jdtech in the previous TR No8 string, the cab height is intended for use by the Junior section of the Volunte...

Talyllyn Passing Trains

I have been trying something similar running an Up train passing AItraffic at Brynglas + Quarry Sidings with no joy. It has proved very difficult to persuade AI trains to enter unsignalled single lines.
As the author of the Talyllyn Down Passing Path activity, perhaps Ben Hyde can assist you?

i think that Parmeston visited another railway round there so maybe theres some scope for activites there using existing stock.
That was the Chemin de Fer des Chanteraines, a 5.5KM line purpose built in a park in the NorthWest suburbs of Paris.

Cambrian Coast Pack

Yes I have managed to complete all the activities EXCEPT for one that I can't make work - Pwllheli DMU Shift #1. I am able to bring the lead DMU into the platform, and couple up, but I cannot get out of the platform - the signal will not clear nor allow a Pass at Danger. Any Ideas? I find frequent s...

Does anyone know of any other locos for MSTS from the CFCD, as I'd like to make a few actvities A very easy addition would be a Simplex 4w Petrol (frsimplex.zip). You may remember the TV programme Salvage Squad restoring No3090 last year for the Moseley Railway Trust. The loco was taken to Froissy ...

Cambrian Coast

Interesting to drive because of the Rollercoaster nature of the route. I would like some steam passenger stock too, but we can all try to create some extra activities using UKTS downloads. Does anyone have details of the route's services in the days of steam? The only thing wrong with the scenery is...

TR coaches

Finally started using these new releases, incl the Corris No17. All lovely to look at, and nice to pass TR trains made up of different formations instead of always using the Vintage set. 2 questions. How do I lose the F5 Passenger view from a loco to allow the coaches to show theirs. Why are the bra...

I'm using Version 1.5.1a for the Talyllyn. The 'Talyllyn v151aACTS&CONS.zip' seems OK until the Sir Haydn problem crops up - I added stock when I saw that was required. The other downloads, I now see, are for V1.5.1(presumably this is a slightly older version?). Is the Festiniog 2X route you mention...

Talyllyn downloads - could somebody help me?

A true'Newbie' with purely self taught computer skills here, so forgive lack of understanding. The only 'computer training' I've had was pure drivel when I was in the Old-style 5th year at school preparing for 'O' levels. Have downloaded the Talyllyn route(both bits)and installed them in MSTS; also d...
