Re: Arriva Trains Wales Questions

Excellent observations there, BorthStation. But very odd method of working, in my mind. One can't even suggest that prioritising the westbound train aids achieving the punctuality figures as surely there's enough recovery time built into the leg after Mach whereas late running to Shrewsbury must scr...

Re: Arriva Trains Wales Questions

Yes, the Wolverhampton turn-round is a regular bugbear for the line's Passenger Association, SARPA. Even on eastbound trains, the crews don't discover their early termination until arrival at Wolves. ATW are proclaiming on their website that they expect an end to the practice with this timetable. Gr...

Re: Arriva Trains Wales Questions

Just seen your conversation on this. If I'd have been aware before I'd have done an actual timing run last time I travelled the line a couple of weeks ago. However, based on the 20h02 from Mach passing the train due into Mach at 20h42 at Talerddig with only a brief stop scheduled, one can assume it'...

Re: File ID 19809 - The Wedding Belle Returns

Hallo Mike,
I'm sorry this hasn't worked properly. It is the first time I've uploaded anything, and I thought things had worked out correctly.

Am away this week, so will look at getting it corrected over the weekend or next week.

Re: Loco's That used to run on the cambrian

Hi Ben, Further to the post by MrHillingdon, which looks absolutely right, remember that the Manor Class of locomotive was actually built for operating on the Great Western's ex-Cambrian routes. This, I think, used a Hall as a basis but a smaller boiler to reduce the overall weight of the loco. Howe...

No, much smaller objects than mountains................ It took some doing to work it out, but I believe you've been de-Lamp-Posting, Ian. I didn't make the event as I was operating the Leighton Buzzard railway on Sat (not single handed), and then cabbed our Matheran No740 on my Birthday Break spec...

TR V.2 Screenshots

I totally agree with everybody. I used to operate the v1.5 but this version is truly excellent - including Up servicespasssing AI traffic at last.

.....and remember that by buying the CD, you automatically donate £2 to the real Railway!

Yep. It appears to be up to the standard we've come to expect.

Will the DMU be driven from the Powered car or the Trailer Car (like the Cambian Coast's Class 101) ?

Is this a Garratt I see before me?

Your Garratt seems to have started moving off-shed leaving it's wheels behind! :D

...or can Boston Lodge's boiler-trolleys now take the weight of a fitted-out boiler with cab mounted too?

Having received an e-mail from Ian Butters giving the Upgrade link details a couple of weeks ago, have finally got round to upgrading the route - AND WHAT A ROUTE IT IS. I used to think Version 1.1 was good, but this is truly gorgeous. A big thank you to Ian for sorting me out, and to all the Author...

I tried to get the weekend off work, but I'd got horrible shifts which nobody would cover. Not happy!!!

Never mind, anyone coming to Buzzrail (the Leighton Buzzard railway) on Sunday will find me working on the first 2 trains.

Ffestiniog v1.1 AI problem at Rhiw Goch

Good morning boys and girls, Not yet upgraded to v2.0 but currently trying to add AI traffic to a Down activity which involves an Up AI train waiting in RhiwGoch loop for my train to pass on the main line. I cannot get this train to appear on-screen. I've tried adding Wait Time in the loop, and also...
