sound cards for dorset coast

there have been a few posts about people mentioning to turn your sound quality settings down to minimum before running the dorset coast route... could this problem be sorted (i.e. having the ability to run the route with best sound quality without any crashes) by having a fairly decent sound card, l...

Hi Matt, thanks for your reply, I followed your instructions and it seems to be working now, maybe before I unzipped everything for both V1 and V2 then ran the BAT files one after another, perhaps that upset it! Its annoying that I have to run the route on seriously reduced graphics and sound levels...

Dorset coast problems (the support pack didnt help me!)

I'm still having major problems trying to get this to work, even after reading the latest set of Q&As in the support pack. I want to be able to run V1 and V2 with no problems before attempting to install V3, so have downloaded the 10 files for V1 and 4 files for V2 (+ the patch file for V2). I also ...

Thanks Robert! Maybe that's why I'm having trouble with the route not loading properly and not being available at the start screen (even though I've run all the BAT files) :) .

I'll give that a go later on!

Cheers

Location of Tsection.dat file

Was wondering where this needs to be placed. The read-me file says it needs to be extracted to the GLOBAL folder...does it also need to be put in the Dorset Coast ROUTE folder aswell?

Thanks, sorry if this is an unwanted post for dorset coast!!

Dorset Coast CD

Hi, does anyone have an idea of when the v3 CD will be available? Also, where can you get v2 CD from, as it's not on the CD ordering page.

Thanks

another question from me(!). this may seem rather brash, but are there any plans for the route to have an option of using modern colour-light signalling? i often travel on this route and, being 19, didn't travel on it when it was BR semaphores (as the CD version is now) however i understand if there...

not sure if this would be classed as a 'key' branchline, but is exeter st davids-barnstaple included?

although considering the route is based around the steam era, wasn't exeter-barnstaple (the tarka line as its known now) owned by LSWR?

engines on a voyager

if voyagers have one 750hp engine slung underneath each carriage, then why is it so much quieter in the first class coach? (coach A)
