Re: Locos losing their engine sounds

Altho' this isn't sounds, I've noticed that using Gpu-z when half a Hst set passes (the rest is couplings) the graphics memory is totally used up, so possibly your right about memory for sounds as well.

Re: Styckx's stuff

A Big Thank You Bill for the very fine gesture in allowing you assets to be still used, maybe one day you will return. Railworks will get better I'm sure.

Thanks Keith

Re: Sorry guys...CPU upgrade advice

Use a ssd as a cache for your main drive, works well on a z68 board.

Re: Sorry guys...CPU upgrade advice

make sure the MB bios has been flashed to the latest one as I can't get mine to accept it no matter which way I try, ezeflash- dos flash. On retrospect I would go for the Asrock or Gigabyte boards. My i5k runs dead easy at 4.5gig using a hyper212 cooler, 35 deg on load with RW, make sure your case i...

Re: Scottish East Coast Main Line from Just Trains

Well! I would buy it if they put the valve gear right. As I've said before the textures from the screenies look spot on, can see the oil/parrafin mix wipe over.
Lol

Re: stock not showing in consist build

Yes Mike, Using your excellent consist builder in the edit assets. Looking at the file structure it's the same, and if I use railworks itself to make a consist this shows in RW tools Edit assets top box, but not in the list below, can't mention the other that does this, but same problem. All others ...

stock not showing in consist build

Hi Mike.
All files read & write but no sign of Rsc's class 31in the build list, can you point to where I'm going wrong or is it the way the locomotives file structure is.

Thanks

Re: DT Rebuilt Westcountry

Aye! just noticed on the dark railway videos that the DT rebuilt has the radius rod in back gear when running forward on the left side.

Re: The Dark Railway Series

Why's your new purchase in backgear when running forward?

Re: DT Rebuilt Westcountry

As regards the motion being spot on,it's a pity the weighshaft is not operational. The radius rod hanging in mid air just looks so wrong, perhaps a patch will be issued later. The textures are however superb.

Re: DT Rebuilt Westcountry

Some things that were done during the rebuilding seem quite radical to me. The steam flow was swapped between inside and outside admission (can't remember which way round) but that suggests a lot of changes in the plumbing. Did the rebuilds get a completely new valve/cylinder block, I wonder? Keith...

Re: March madness

Woodhead still up at 24.95 although showing as 75% off when starting RW. Went to purchase but still shows this when at review page.
