Sounds great fun Dave, but you shoud've waited 30mins for 14:05 which would've been a pig, I know I would've, not difficult to occupy yourself at Waterloo for 1/2 hour. :) What was the ride like of the 'express 450'? Like you I've never done an express journey in a 450, I wouldn't have thought it's ...

To me EBRail as a fictional rail operator name makes a reasonable amount of sense. MUCH more logical than it being any kind of thing supposed to do with E-Rail. I think the original comment about it looking the same was intended to be just that, a comment, not a slur, but as things tend to do on fo...

Funny that. You say one thing and you close a forum. :-?

My post was not a dig, merely agreeing with what others had already pointed out, in perhaps a sarcastic tone. Will add more later I'm sure, I'm off for a lesson.

Well it won't have anything to do with the route, is an activity problem. Try lowering your settings.

A Duff Day on the GWML

http://www.southernrailwaypics.co.uk/

Just a few shots of a mid-morning trip to the GWML to get 47714 and 60029 which was missed. Rubbish weather so nothing special, but enjoy anyway.

Cheers

Gary,

It's just a wierd AE thing, for some reason if you place a signal on the left it can sometimes appear on the right, but rest assured it is what it is in the RE!

I've no idea why it does it, perhaps something to do with the rotation in the RE. :-?

Normally a 73 wouldn't recuse a Desiro. In this world of modern plastic it's likely another Desiro would go and resuce it, either acting as a following service, acting as an approaching service in the opposite direction (track layout dependant obviously), or even as an ECS if none other is near. Of ...

Activity start speed.

At the Aldershot show today Doug Kightley and myself were discussing some issues with Bin. One of them that I have experienced is with activites that start at speed. I wrote a few for the Aldershot show and they require cab switching. If say you start the activity at 30mph, when you come to switch c...

Seems this is properly official now as it was on BBC Radio Solent this morning, and I expect Paul Clifton will be doing a report on South Today tonight.

Carl,

Yes, it was more complicated than I first thought as just about every platform shape needed to be replaced and repositioned in the RE, but I think that the effort has been worth it.

Dave
I thought that was the case. So when do you sleep? :)
