Re: Stuttering and other issues (and my first thoughts)
Going back on topic, I haven't been able to put RW down and have put many more hours into it. I've been using the Hagen - Siegen route a lot recently, mainly because it runs smoother than other routes. I've noticed a few issues on the BR143. On the HUD, it has a dynamic brake lever, but the train do...

Re: RW reinstall takes a long time
Took me 3 hours just to install RW2, which seemed excessive.

Re: Stuttering and other issues (and my first thoughts)
There is no tower, it's an all-in-one unit and slightly more complicated to get to the main board. Looking at the service manual, it isn't clear how the card slot is connected, although it is a 7-in-1 reader. Although I miss shuttle re-entrys and a realistic glider tow and moving aircraft carriers i...

Re: Stuttering and other issues (and my first thoughts)
SD card slot is built-in. My PC is an all-in-one unit. It still has to be connected to the motherboard somehow, either by USB or using my laptop as an example by PCI-e. X-Plane looks slightly better than I expected, but still haven't seen a jet plane with fully-functional flight deck, IRS, FMC, aut...

Until moderators or admin consider my posts inappropriate, I can continue to post whatever I like. If I feel that RW getting an award from the survey of a small amount of worldwide train simmers is laughable, then I feel I have the right of free speech to be able to say so. You do of course have th...

I've only just stopped laughing at that You laughed for 3 1/2 hours about that? You should get out more. Well done RSC, you should be very proud More like 5 minutes, I didn't see the article straight away. Seems I clearly have no right to criticise a product I paid good money for and one that I'm n...

Re: Stuttering and other issues (and my first thoughts)
I was looking at the post on the front page of UKTS by Matt about solid state hard drives, and now I'm looking at the SD card slot on the side of my computer! Would RW work if installed on one of those cards, or even MSTS for that matter? How is the SD card slot connected to your motherboard? Does ...

Re: Award winner! Best Simulator 2010
I've only just stopped laughing at that. Yeah RW2 is pretty, but it has way too many issues and isn't that accurate at all at being a SIMULATOR! Unless all that matters in this day and age is visuals....

Re: Dynamic Brakes - am I overlooking something?
Indeed, I already knew that, but I don't want to have to use the F5 page just to drive the train properly.

Re: Dynamic Brakes - am I overlooking something?
I noticed a huge amount of wheelslip on the US locos when using dynamic brakes, and also excessive braking force on the German locos. I think MSTS, SpoorSim and Trainz had it simulated reasonably accurately, the handle has to be moved to a setup position first for the first few seconds before dynami...

Is the Passenger Edition patch still available for TRS2004?
I haven't used it for a few years and I lost the patch in a hard drive crash a long time ago. Looked on the JustTrains website and they don't have it any more. I bought TRS2004 the day it came out, but I will have to install it to find out what build it is if necessary.

Re: Account assault?
Glad I've seen this topic, as I too have been getting a message every log in in the past 2-3 days stating that I've exceeded the maximum number of log-ins, and have to enter the CAPTCHA. I was concerned that someone was trying to gain control of my account.
