found the problem, as always the new update has really put a spanner in the works, every time you save a scenario it adds unwanted files to the "scenario properties.xml". Instead of being 17kb some end up 50 or 60 megs. Just adds and adds untill the computer can't handle it... Lucky have found out h...

yes those 14000 long 'scenario properties' instead of 18. fixed it! 6 hours hard work... each time it coffed out saying error 113 I moved the 'scenarios' out and put in a 'new' scenario empty folder.... then put the old scenarios back into the new folder.... thats where the problem was... been testing it, its only on my Bromsgrove Burton route, all the others are ok, in fact the Broms Bur on my old laptop saves right away... tried redownloading steam and copying the files from my laptop but still no go... have to try other things

'save scenario' takes 5 mins only on 1 computer
saves editing immediate as always, but if I alter a scenario and try and 'save' it immediatly responds with 'not responding" for a good 5 minutes, this is only on my super duper computer, my old laptop with the same routes is immediate.. Any suggestions????

Cheers john. Yes as long as it loaded and worked. The Tamworth Burton track took 4 hours to put down.
I have to put the cuttings and embankment in. I can start on the scenery now on that section as all the rest of the mainline is done. Just remembered 1Z82 only has 2 locos no stock.

got as far as Burton with the track and was creating a test scenario... screen freeze..... error line 113 OMG... Took 3 hours of packaging up the route with various folders omitted or altered..... finally I cut the 'scenarios' folder out.... opened a new folder 'scenarios' .. put back 1 scenario.. O...
