just downloaded Skarloey, Harvey and Lady, copied the scotsman sound and cab files to them. when I try and add a consist it wants the .wag files.... but all are tank engines and tender req is (-1) ??? groan groan

you can alter it in the engine file as below

comment(fire temp, fire mass, water mass, boiler pressure,

what am I? on getting this new computer I put the old version conbuilder in, which does not give the 3D options etc.. thats ok now can see what i am using,, who needs A/E anyway

sometimes too I find if I replace a consist with items from my 'trainset' i pick up a wagon/loco that i have not used before and it has a wrong definition or something, i have sometimes to delete a wagon try and run the programme, if it still fails put that item back and try another.. long but very ...

do you keep the same consist file and just edit it? I find it best to copy its name, delete it and remake it completly. since getting a widescreen monitor, when i start train sim I get the full picture with "Microsoft Train Simulator" and "loading" after 5 secs one half gets horizontal stripes then goes black the other half is ok, then it goes to the next screen and everything is ok... any one else get the same probl...

but I think there is a way to link it to shape viewer? I dont use conbuilder because it only shows a 'cartoon' of the wagon, all of them the same, so I dont really know what wagon it is.

got so much stuff in the freight list that finding tenders is hard, I see some tenders are classed as 'tenders' not 'freight'.
Would be helpful if I could have some more classifications.

I just posted a reply in another thread about this, basically if an activity was created using the 'default' stock, does not matter if its all wrong, at least you could get A/E to open to edit it it with stock that you do have before running.
