quality

ah yes Otto i did notice a loss of quality from .jpg to .ace. I should have guessed because .jpg's loose quality each time you 'save'.

Going to try from ace (screenshot) to bmp, edit, then straight back to ace. For use in MSTS

then resave the BMP to jpg for use in my screen saver slide show.

not the best but it works

AMD Athlon 64 CPU AM2 socket. 3500 + 2.2ghz

3 x 512 Ram DDR2 800 (A-data) (but if I get another 512 the computer will go dual channel)

Nvidia 6600 card. (GT card would be even better)

not the best as you can see but it works great.

into the #MR_class_M_2500.eng file

unnecessary I know but like a "clean slate"

i worked at Weymouth as a guard for BR and talked a lot to the drivers there who drove the MN and BB, WC classes, they were built as mixed traffic loco's because just after WW2 it was not deemed necessary to build express loco's only freight. well no one had any sugestions

so what I did to solve it was to copy the GORDON.wag file and S, SD and ace files then edit the gordon to Harvey and rename the file to harvey.wag then paste it in the Harvey train file same with all the others. Now everything works but it remains a mystery why it wants wag files for a tank loco all...
