Just a quick note to say how impressed I am with your progress... look forward to turning a few wheels on the route, much of which I remember from my late teens and early twenties. Are you planning to include Lewes-Plumpton-Haywards Heath for the Seaford-HH shuttles that I remember running at the ti...

Re: Loco by road?!?!
Having been delayed considerably this morning while trying to go about my lawful business by a lowloader carrying a Brush Type 4 loco going south on the M5 between J19 (Gordano) and J20 (Clevedon), my immediate thought is 'why can't it go by rail????' What is the point of having policy of trying to...

Why werent you ? If you see all the stuff I have to transport around in the back of my car to do my job,...

Yes, I forgot to mention the 50's doing the Waterloo - Exeter route. I guess the odd 50 working to Weymouth pulled the REP's and TC's? No. TCs would only multiple with REPs, 33/1s, 73/1s and 74s. I can remember at least one diagrammed Summer SO service rostered for a 50 + 8 NSE Mk IIs no, class 50'...

I would of thought Class 33's ran to Weymouth. Class 50's would of been on the West Coast Mainline or on the Great Western Main Line. In their later years, they did Waterloo-Exeter-Plymouth, so the odd one reaching Weymouth wouldn't be so far fetched. I doubt they were light enough for the Tramway ...
