I've always pronounced Bombardier as 'Bom-bard-i-er. This just seems the logical way to say it.

That just sounds like a boy racer attitude to it.

Got to say, from a passenger-only POV of air travel, that I'd be most dubious about travelling on a plane with such a name on the side!
