Re: Listing DynaTrax sections used
I'm using v0.52, and if I search the route \SHAPES folder for "DynaTrax*" I get the type of list you wish. Since I use BIN, the list begins with "DynaTrax-40000.s" and "DynaTrax-40000.sd" and goes up from there...

Re: You’ve got to have a look at this!!!
It was uploaded here and trainsim.com August 2014, but so far no one on either site has made any activities for it or stock,if you want Danish \Swedish stock try here http://www.banbyggarna.se/msts/msts.htm or here ,www.trainsim.dk For activities I think you have to go into activity editor and crea...

Re: Anybody know anything about Dynatrax Please
... you can also get v0.52b from trainsim.com (dynatrax.zip) If I may interject in regard to the Elvas Tower download: "This package contains the latest version of the Public Profiles from the former TrainSimFiles web site as well as the profiles necessary for converting dynamic track shapes to all...

Re: Route Riter Error
I have recently started to receive the error message "You do not appear to have a Java runtime system on your PC, this program will not run until this is fixed. See my FAQ page". Perhaps you have not yet added a new "classes" folder to the latest update to Java that's in your program files. If that...

Re: MEP.
If you press the "Introductory Train Ride" button on the first screen after staring MSTS, you will start in the cab of a loco. After that the only control you have is to change views using the 1, 2, 3 etc. keys. To add a little extra to that, when you first pop in to the ITR, press F1 and then ESC ...

Re: Curved points
At first glance I appear to have curved points available but none of the shape files seem to exist for the A1tCrvdPt.... track sections. All of the A1tCrvdPt track shapes listed in the Standardized Global Tsection.dat are from Dietmar Jülich's track collection. "RWger_91.zip" can be found at thetra...

Re: Smoke rises through roof.
I have the old problem of trying to prevent smoke rising through a roof....I have made the Ferry a "Tunnel" object, and added the additional line in the .sd file - ESD_Tunnel ( 800 0 2.5 13.0 0 ), but this hasn't helped....Does anyone have any other suggestions please? The most common way to do thi...

Re: Using existing Dyna Trax
Only suggestion I can make is to contact one of the route builders who have used UKFinescale. ccsdc (Dorset Coast) or bigant (Burton Derby). You may get the help and advice you need from these people. In addition to that, there's a guide in the download at this link that describes what Dynatrax rea...

I certainly agree with that, and it has been many years since I last did one.terrycunliffe wrote:The best way to do a .tdb rebuild is not to!
But I had not mentioned a tdb rebuild in this thread anyway.

Re: Fuel Points in AE
I wonder if they'll still be there when I logon tomorrow! That's one of the problems that I've had with the route I mentioned. Everything can be OK, but several TDB saves later something drops out. As another example of perverseness, occasionally I've even had for instance a coal pickup change to w...

Re: Fuel Points in AE
I did have occasions when placing the fuel points that the Content values returned to 0.0 or similar, so I increased the value again. Quite possibly these have slipped to 0.0 again. All of this is just another frequently unrecognized quirk. "In the far distant future, MSTS Route Builders will be no...

Re: Fuel Points in AE
I've added several fuel points (water and coal) to the route and all work in activities, but many don't show up in AE. Is there a specific action or entry that will ensure all fuel points appear in AE? Or is there a limit to the number of fuel points that AE can handle? This happens more frequently...
