Re: WAVERLEY ROUTE

Although Windermere-Keswick is now another distraction for me, especially since now I've just found the actual Parliamentary plans with the route maps and gradient profiles for the Ambleside line :o With track and signalling now laid for the planned line to Ambleside, and a theoretical line from th...

Re: Simple Controls and Physics vs Full Controls and Physics

Yes to simple / full options. Would welcome realistic controls for EM1/2, as well as for early AC electric (e.g. tap-changing). As for steam, I always use auto fireman since I can't multi task and do 2 peoples' jobs at once! It worked for the old basic 8-bit Southern Belle / Evening Star 'sims' but ...

Re: WAVERLEY ROUTE

Maybe when I've stopped faffing about laying track/signalling/terrain textures for the north west of England, woodhead 1981/1960s rebuild (with corrected route alignments as it's too short penistone-sheffield), cleveland/north yorks, and put some scenery in............ :drinking: Waverley is still ...

Re: THAMES TRENT V3

Now finally driving from Manchester Central to London St Pancras, with D22 :D It is very welcome to finally see the Hope Valley line in a sim, it and the line through Bakewell look stunning, the latter invokes a great sense of loss. Fascinating to see the old lines through south Manchester some of w...

Re: THAMES TRENT V3

Unfortunately, by uploading the route as one gigantic file, it will be beyond the reach of anyone that doesn't have a premium membership. Or was that deliberate? No different to plenty of other routes that have been uploaded over the years to be fair....having one file helps making it easy and quic...

Re: Atomic Album Closing

Let those people whine... I think it's great that, and correct me if I'm wrong, someone offers to publicly provide downloads, via a site that he pays with his own money . It is perfectly normal to limit the data used, to avoid a costs explosion. And I'm happy to pay an premium membership. (Although...
