Re: A Line in the Sand

Woodhead will be another route. What's so special about it that it would make or break RW3? From reading this forum, my opinion is the route is being released at that point where (possibly mostly long time) users feel enough is enough. Considering the years this simulator has been around for now, W...

Re: Class 86/87 Sound Pack released - Armstrong Powerhouse

Are people saying the electric one is weak in comparison to the older one or in comparison to experience with the electric one in reality? For me, it's only because I associate the original sound with the Class 86 rather than the beep. I have yet to purchase the sound pack. the newer electric one (...

Re: Sound recommendations

That's mainly why I'm reluctant to purchase a Creative sound card. It's unfortunately rare for me to read a good story about them. As EAX is considered deprecate now, it would be good if they focused on providing the better sound experience for all users instead of keeping it to users exclusive to C...

If you're happy with offering it and it's still available, would you be happy with me taking it off you, please?

Re: Class 67 adv + car carrier

I shall be doing so really, Nearly finished the one with the JT verison then will change the timings if needed for the RSC verison. Doing it like so, so people if they wanted to try it don't miss out really. Chris Sounds like a good idea. That way, you cater for both audiences rather than just the ...

Re: Steam sale and crouch valley 3

This appears to be a good thread to promote in so far, hehe. :) Here's a summary of what payware will be required for the currently mentioned routes. Crouch Valley 3: Isle of Wight, WCML North & Edinburgh - Glasgow. Morecambe Branch Line: Bristol - Exeter. danny3's route: Portsmouth Direct. Keith's ...

Re: Steam sale and crouch valley 3

I have been considering Crouch Valley and many others on UKTrainSim. I will probably pay for a month of downloading and this will definitely be one of them. Well, version 2 at least. Unless I wait for 6 months, hehe. Then again, I can always pay UKTrainSim now and 6 months later. ;) I am considering...

Re: Class 325 review?

How did you manage £1.75? When it was the WCML value pack with the 50% off voucher a week or two back (WCML North add-on, Class 325 and Class 86 add-on pack). Total = £14.99. In terms of money and value, half of the WCML price is £12.49, the Class 86 add-on pack is less than the Class 325 at the RR...

Re: What should Railsimulator.com focus on in 2012?

I only posted this with intention to a fun and interesting conversation between users. This is also why I added the clarification that it has no bearing on the actual decision making within the railsimulator.com company. :) Should I change the question to "what is on your wish list?" or something si...

Re: Class 67 adv + car carrier

I certainly am interested in the Class 67. This particular product really does show what can now be done with Railworks Train Simulator 2012. However, to pay an extremely premium price for what can and should be created with the software, I do feel is unfair. I would hope this is just a one off pric...

What should Railsimulator.com focus on in 2012?

As 2011 is about to end, if you were able to oversee what Railsimulator.com focused on in 2012, what would it be? I have decided to allow 2 options to be chosen to remove the thought of having to decide between one or the other. By "train" in the poll, I mean diesel or electric multiple unit, diesel...

Re: Class 325 review?

Unique, yes, but in terms of the realisation of the model it's little more than red box on wheels with a lever that makes it go forwards or backwards. The unit looks fine visually, and the sounds are fine, but once again the details, physics and features let it down. Personally, it's ok for £5.99. ...

Re: Class 86/87 Sound Pack released - Armstrong Powerhouse

If I was to purchase this, is there a way I could leave the AWS warning as the default tone? I prefer the original squeezed "bzzz" it would create. :D
