Re: Moving Routes Into Open Rails
If you have Openrails installed, and the new route is installed in the same place as the other routes, it should just appear. If you have installed the route in a different location, for instance as a miniroute, then you need to use the options button n the Openrails start page, and then the Content...

Revised 3d cab for Class 37 Diesel
Class37_3d_v2.JPG After revising the class47, I decided to do the same for the class37. These have been two of the most popular diesel locomotive cabs I have made. Once again, I have added the functioning AWS sunflower and reset button. This works well in scenarios and adds a further level of inter...

Revised 3d cab for Class 47 Diesel
Cab_Mk2.JPG I decided to have a look at my Class 47 3D cab, as it was one of the first I tried, back in early 2019. My subsequent models have been moving me along the learning curve and so I found several things that could be improved. I particularly wanted to add the functioning AWS indicator. I h...

Wonderful route. I travelled on that route as a child on a trip to St.Anton.

Re: A very rare combo
It's sad to see but I think the lack of discussions on MSTS show that the sim is coming to it's end.....and even the OR forum doesn't seem to be particularly busy either. There are still a few die-hards that produce uploads, but even they are gradually giving up - and I'm one of them. I uploaded my...

Re: A very rare combo
Hi Brian, Well done mate on getting so much stuff out, especially at this time of year. There are a few of us still working on content for Openrails, and there seem to be quite a few downloaders, so there is still a community there. They do seem to be a quiet lot, though, in general. I guess people ...

Re: Train Sim Modeler no longer available from Louis Sinclair
I keep several backups of the installer for TSM. I don't want to lose it.
Happy to help anyone out at any time with TSM, by the way.

Have you joined the Elvas Tower forum? There has been a lot of discussion on timetables there.

Re: 3D cabview for Class 317 Electric Multiple Units
Thanks for the info coolhand. I will look into adding the sander and bell, and circuit breaker light. I probably will not put in a doors warning light because I only want to focus on the dashboard area. I will probably add these things to the class 313/315 cabs and then issue an updated version of t...

Re: 3D cabview for Class 317 Electric Multiple Units
Hi Coolhand, Thanks for the feedback - much appreciated. I will be able to add light switches in a future update. The Bell and Door dispplay should also be possible, but I don't see where they would show in the cab. Perhaps you could provide some guidance? I don't have any activities particularly fo...

Re: 3D cabview for Class 317 Electric Multiple Units
Oh, and amongst other things, the AWS indicator works, and if you have the script installed, AWS will operate properly.

3D cabview for Class 317 Electric Multiple Units
This cabview was originally created to complement the Making Tracks Class 317 EMU, but can be used with any similar unit. I have uploaded the model today, which should soon be available once approved. Please let me know if there are any problems with installation or use. Geoff By the way, I used to ...

Re: 3D Cabview steam engine
Hi David, That is already under way. Darwin has a LMS Jubilee locomotive model in preparation, and I am doing a 3d cab for it. It is a similar layout to the tank engine, but the view out of the windows reflects the tender engine. Darwin has suggested that I make a BR green version, for issue separat...
