Re: Oil Terminal Scenery

The trouble is Gary that Eurobahn dont want their stuff to be tampered with so i cant do it.

There is no REF file to add the object details.

I have copy & pasted some gasometers there in the end!

Cheers anyway.

Re: Oil Terminal Scenery

There was one other thing...

I decided to try to reskin a gasometer & use this for an oil tank but there appears to be no .ref file in the EB GWR route to submit my data so it looks like i cant do it anyway!

Maybe EB dont like their stuff to be fiddled with! :-?

Oil Terminal Scenery

Hi, does anyone know where i can download some scenery suitable for the above? I have looked into the UKTS downloads & cant seen to find anything. I wish to add the scenery to the EB GWR route at the oil sidings at Langley, Berkshire as all there is at the moment are sidings. Thanks for your help io...

Hi David,
thanks for the info.

I wondered what was wrong!

Re: Chiltern Line

Hi, not sure what i'm doing wrong but i have carried out the installation instructions but appear to have most of the scenery missing? I am running OR v1.31 & copying all of the folders accross into my MSTS folder. I start off in marylebone & drive out of the station. It is barren scenery. Surely th...

Re: Plymouth to Penzance

Hi Clive, I, like the others before me commend you on a superb effort. The detail is superb & I for one cant wait to get going on it! It is definetely your best route to date. I beg you... More like this please! (I would love one based in the North East of England! Newcastle, Durham, Darlington, Tyn...

Re: Loco Lights & AI Timings

Hi Dennis, thanks for your reply. I am not criticising OR in any shape or form, all I wanted to do was find out if my observations were correct. I don't go on Elvas Towers wherever it is, I use this forum & usually get my answers here. That's why I've not seen this AI topic before (I should visit th...

Re: Loco Lights & AI Timings

Hi Ged, I cant remember whether I changed any lights on 58001, maybe, as there was a time when I started using loads of AI that some loco's lights didn't work properly & I tinkered! You see, I have separate .eng files for normal & AI so in this case 58001.eng & 58001_AI.eng & associated files. This ...

Re: Loco Lights & AI Timings

Hi, thanks for all of the input to make my head spin! I thought something was going on! If I decide to run AI on a new version of OR, I'll just adjust the AI timings of the trains accordingly. (I thought there was a definite change though) As for the loco's lights the loco is File ID : 4391 I have a...

Loco Lights & AI Timings

A bit of a weird one this but I have noticed on a class 58 loco. When run in an activity on an earlier version of OR (v2299) the lights at the front are fine. When you run the same activity on the new 1.3 version the headlight position seems to be set back on the model & therefore does not work prop...

Re: AI Coupling & uncoupling???

Hi Stephen, Thanks for the info. I will take a look & do my best. Thanks also for the kind offer of assistance, I may well call on you in the future! I have only used the MSTS activity editor so it will be a whole new learning curve! Sorry I have not used any of your activities (or any others for th...

AI Coupling & uncoupling???

Hi, is this possible in activities in OR? I have seen it mentioned occasionally but find I am unable to do it using the MSTS Activity Editor in OR. I created an activity where a consist was placed up the line in the path of a loco routed towards it. The loco stops short to as it detects an obstructi...
