This is a not unknown occurrence with John's signals. Redownload and install again - this usually cures it. It happened once to me, but since then (touch wood) all has been well

Re: "Newest Files" not paging through the list
So clearly this is a common problem, maybe the case for everyone regardless of browser (I have tried Chrome and MS Edge). How else can we bring it to anyone's attention. I'm not getting responses from Matt, and apparently he has been told before, anyway. And downloading files - are others having pr...

Re: "Newest Files" not paging through the list
The Search function works if you put something in the Keyword box - I was looking for Ay Valley scenarios and I just put Ay and it worked That is presuming you know what you are looking for. Like Chris, I occasionally like to see what has been uploaded recently (Newest Files). Now, I can only find ...

Re: South Wales Coastal Unbranded
It seems a complete waste of 3.5 GBs on my hard drive, so, I'll just delete it all off, I have far too many Class 70s and 175s and GWR HSTs already, so, I can't understand as we have had other routes that have been unbranded, but we never got a follow up route and asset packs, so, unsure why we've ...

Re: TS-Tools v1.0.54
Mike, On checking a route (Koblenz-Trier 1.4) it checked the route, but also the scenery files in all the scenarios and so produced a not-very-useful list. Best wishes Robin The solution is to "switch off" the scenarios before checking the route - just rename the folder slightly. Remember to change...

Re: Disappearing Scenery
Ah, I see your problem. The first home has 2 possible routes, so you need at Hm2T or a HmHb, link 1 going to the main line, and link 2 going to the loop. You also need a Hm2T (or HbHm) on both the main and the loop before the convergence of main and loop before the platforms (as there are 2 routes)....

The Atomic System route closed off a while back. You can add images directly into post - see my mini tutorial at viewtopic.php?f=363&t=148551&p=1853157& ... g#p1853157
I have also sent you a PM

Re: Disappearing Scenery
Could you post that signal/track diagram - that would help. When you say 1 link, do you mean just link 0, or link 0 and link 1? There are other GWR LQ signals, the Exeter-Kingswear come to mind (Riviera in the 50s) If you wish to stick with Freeware, the ALGB LNWR signals are LQ, and resemble the GW...

Re: Disappearing Scenery
If the signal you are talking about is a junction one, there are 2 possible solutions. 1. Change the links over (1 to 2, 2 to 1). 2. If that doesn't work, then if the signal is HmHb, or HbHm, then change to HmHm. If it is a plain Home signal, then place a Home0T at the buffers, then bury it! PS a th...

Good luck with the laptop, and the quarantine. It may be possible to get the BBC through their streaming service (not my area of expertise but you could try their website).
Whose signals are you using? If it is a mix, you have to be careful with the use of different script sets

Re: Disappearing Scenery
When you select an item in Editor, the game arbitrarily selects a value for the LoD. This should stay as the value once the changes have been saved. However, I have had some values changed when next opening a route (very, very occasionally). I do not know if this is something in the software to keep...

Re: Disappearing Scenery
The relevant entry in a Scenery Tile .bin file is <DetailLevel d:type="sInt32">7</DetailLevel> Here the value is 7 You can use TS Tools to change all instances of this in all tiles. Screenshot (1358).jpg Set your minimum value (say 4) and put the code in the bottom box with that value. Then put the ...

Re: Disappearing Scenery
And the second But move away, and it disappears. The scenery density (value of the slider) and the LoD must add up to 11 or more for the asset to be seen in game 20201124220336_1.jpg You can increase the scenery density value in your settings, or use TS Tools to increase the LoD settings in every sc...
