Re: Chatham Main & Medway Valley Free Roam
Thank you for you reply gptech. I had read an old post that suggested it was possible to convert a quick drive in to a free roam but it was never actually done. I have used the process you describe below to create a free roam from scratch. I'll just have to place my own stock on it. Again many thank...

Chatham Main & Medway Valley Free Roam
Hi All. I'm hoping someone can help with creating the above. The line above does not come with any free roam options that I can see. I've tried cloning the route and then the quick drive scenario using RW Tools and saving the scenario. It briefly shows in the RW tools scenario list as a blue free ro...

Re: Class 91 and Class 92 Progress
Hi All, To add to the discussion re the HST power car on the back of a 91 set. I believe the original plan was to use the HST power car on tick over as suggested but the exhausts were getting rather clogged on just the tick over and then catching fire. The decision was then taken to power them up to...

Re: News Containers
Hi all. Following on from a prompt above it is surprising there is no version on the IKA Megafret wagon out there. See the link below. Wagons of this type ply up and down the WCML every day with the Stobart and Russell container trains to mention a few. I know the Stobart containers are available to...

Re: Class 317 class 379
Hi All. Dragging a unit would give a few scenario options although I think you would need to do something with the coupling. A barrier coach would be required as per the real thing and then some coupling compatibility mod I think. Also. I'm not sure the panto down would stop the unit powering up! I ...

Re: Class 317 class 379
Hi All. There is a thread that briefly mentions my issues with the pantograph bouncing up and down. See page 2 on the link below. My 379 appears to be behaving itself. On the subject of the 317 can I ask people to look if they have the MSO in the loco or coaches/wagon selection. My SPT Orange MSO (a...

Re: Class 390
Hi. I also found the posting below particularly useful. I overwrote the fictitious GNER 390 so when any Scenario (including RSC'S) calls up the GNER I get the Virgin 390.

Re: Replacing stock with RW_Tools
Hi All. Excuse me for bumping an old topic. I've swapped out some steel bolster wagons with AP's BZA plus a few other items of stock using RW Tools in the DPS Northern Steel scenario. It now appears I have no missing assets but the scenario now crashes TS2014 when trying to load. Now a few questions...

Re: Class 317 NSE Variant
Hi again. I've tried the various versions of my 317 collection and it turns out the NSE, Southern and South Eastern don't work. I've removed the all three. To the best of my knowledge the Southern and South Eastern were fictious anyway as the 317's never worked south of the Thames. I've got the 455/...

Re: Class 317 NSE Variant
Hi gptech. I have the working NXEA MSO calling for MSO.GeoPcDx at 728KB. In the Cl318/Orange folder I have MSO_exp.GeoPcDx at 1263KB. There are also two .bin files. MSO_hi_wag.bin and MSO_wag_bin which I guess are referring to a high pantograph or a low one. I was considering deleting the entire 317...

Re: Class 317 NSE Variant
Not quite sure how I add to my previous post, (edit) so I'll add an update. I suspect I've made rather a mess of the various versions of the 317. I removed the files that came with an AP class 90 Extra stock pack and put back my pre install back up. I then downloaded file 26697 which is David Brindl...

Re: Hypothetically speaking.....
I too share the wish to have more noise in the cap. It might not be that realistic but it gives a good sense of the power. The class 66 V2 sounds particularly good I think giving a representation of the power. When I first drove the AP 90 I was thinking I've got something wrong because I had no sens...

Re: Class 317 NSE Variant
Hi all. I too have the bouncing pantograph problem. I only found it when I installed the reskin for the 318 to try an AP class 90 scenario. I've therefore tried the three MSO's I've got. The blue/grey, the SPT orange/black and the SPT maroon/cream. The only pantograph that doesn't bounce is the dead...

Re: Armstrong Powerhouse Extra Pack
Many thanks for your advice guys. I'll give this temp folder solution ago tomorrow evening and see how I get on. If it goes wrong I may be back tomorrow for more clarification on these .bat files.
