Re: Bank on it scenario

Hello, no problem for me, I completed this scenario last week with auto fireman That run, and any steam scenario, are just not a challenge with auto-fireman. Plenty are, because the auto fireman's poor technique doesn't make it easy all the time. Shame that it's bugged, there are so few challenging...

Hello, no problem for me, I completed this scenario last week with auto fireman That run, and any steam scenario, are just not a challenge with auto-fireman. Shame that it's bugged, there are so few challenging steam scenarios as it is. Interestingly, the injectors do not fill up the tank from the ...

Bank on it scenario

Hadn't done this scenario with 2xblack 5s' coupled for the climb in Scotland. This scenario seems bugged. I checked both engines and kept the water level high yet, just 3 miles into the climb the scenario ended with an error "Ran out of Water!". Tried it twice with the same problem occuring. Anyone ...

Re: RS Tools and bin files

I have RW-Tools. My mistake calling it RS Tools. This program works for 21 time from when you open the program, even if you do nothing you lose a go. Before I was using Serz to create the XML file and then loading it into RW Tools using the XML load option from the file menu. I tried, directly using...

Re: RS Tools and bin files

A $10 donation would cost you less than £7. ( about £6.33. ), that should allow you to use the previously greyed out bit. Serz converts back if you have Administration rights enabled, just right click the text file and select open with Serz after editing. C. OK, I have no problem with purchasing so...

Re: RS Tools and bin files

Thanks for your reply. I'd use that option if I could but it is greyed out :-(

RS Tools and bin files

Saw a YouTube vid of the 'Running on Empty' scenario and saw that the driver position was further back than the default view giving a better view through the window and all the controls. I used the Serz app. to create the xml file for the cab view and edited it, but the latest version of Serz doesn'...

Re: Re-skin of the Tornado?

I saw 60163 at the Nene Valley at Easter. I loved the British Rail (darker green) paintjob and black wheels. I don't know if I'm alone in this, but I hated the apple green colour. Is there a re-skin of the Tornado around? It would be nice if there was a utility like Flight Simulator has to re-skin ...

Sound problem

I have the excellent 4MT steam engine from Digital Traction. I have placed this engine in most of the original routes and a couple of DLC routes. But I have no engine sounds when placing it in the Bristol/Exeter route. Anyone help on this?

Re: PORTSMOUTH DIRECT LINE GRAPHICS ISSUE

I'm a noob with TS2012. I had flickering issues but they dissapeared after I got the latest graphic card drivers. You done all the game things but didn't mention that, so I thought I'd ask :) It's easy to forget, I never upgrade my drivers until there is a problem. I have a "if it aint broke, don't ...

Settle Carlisle - help for a noob please

Hi peeps, I'm gradually getting the hang of things in TS2012. Just need a little help with the scenarios that came with the very nice Settle Carlisle route as below: I think I've installed all the packs needed STANDARD SCENARIOS... Long Meg to Widnes - THIS LOADS OKAY Leeds Carlisle stopping service...

Re: Graphics Cards for TS2012

PhysX works on both the CPU and an Nvidia GPU. Some games disable some effects if PhysX is not GPU accelerated, though RW3 is not one of these. In fact AFAIK, RW3 does not even request GPU acceleration of PhysX. Another quirk is that Nvidia explicitly disable PhysX acceleration if an ATI/AMD graphi...

Re: Graphics Cards for TS2012

Guessing you meant the HD6950 instead. Honestly don't waste the money changing the graphics card. The PhysX is CPU based and not graphics based. The current GPU you have is fantastic and one of the best ATI cards you can buy (considering to get one later in the year) The Window's performance index ...
