I could be wrong but I don't think there is a plugin for the 2018 version. I could be talking . but I think you have to use the 2016 version?

Looks like the UV map is the problem. You have to unwrap the mesh so that the UV's span across the whole of the Y axis.

There's an addon for blender which also does this with OSM data. Not sure how useful it would be for TS really (probably not very) but it's fun to play with. Try using the edge split modifier. That might tidy it up a little bit.

Is it fixed? I had a similar problem once but was able to fix it with the help of people on here.

That's the problem with wanting to develop the London Underground. There's very little information available. The gradients are all over the place so it would make it very hard guess work.

Thing is, you need a solid minimum 60fps for VR. Otherwise it doesn't function properly.

My system is not exactly an old hog. i7 6700K. GTX970 and 16gigs of ram but I did have some performance issues. It didn't make it unplayable though.

I improved it by knocking the shadow quality to medium and that has added quite a lot more smoothness.
