I fixed my mono audio problem and harsh scratchy sound by removing the OpenAL32.dll file from the main railworks folder. Now works as it used to. Nice 3d and effects.
I use aXonar DG sound card and have the GX setting turned off. Probably works just as well for Creative cards.

Love it
