Headlamps were black in Independent days and dark (cherry/indian?) red in Southern Days with a clear lens. Tail lamps were smaller and had a red bullseyeand may well have been the same colour or black - certainly not white Lyn's headlamp was slightly different to the three original MWs and Kevin has...

Having seen Gary and Phil's work, I wouldnt say the route is worthless - but I must say the work that Bazza and Kevin are putting into the creation of the locos is mind boggling and the results stunning. Loco looks great and it seems churlish to plain but may I offer a few corrections. :wink: The chimney cap should also be brass. The buffer beam is correct in vermillion/Indian Red but the cowcatcher is black. The lining was not curved but straight. The cab windows were also lined out I can send/post...
