Re: DTG Class 33 problem

It's something to do with the forum code I believe - if you just post the link as a hyperlink rather than an embedded video it should work. For what it's worth I've experienced the issue you're describing sporadically for as long as I can remember, and long since marked it down as a "feature" of the...

Re: AI Stopping Point - Andis

The Stopping Point asset is a track marker, just like a Siding, Platform or Destination marker except it allows more precise positioning of where a train (player driven or AI) should stop. It needs to be placed on a section of track already covered by one of the aforementioned Siding, Platform or De...

Re: Route map viewer

Sometimes when I look at a route map with RWInfo, there are sections of track missing/invisible, even though they are present in the actual route in TS itself; anyone have any clue as to why this might be? Could you tell me on which routes this problem shows up? As the author of RWInfo I'm in the p...

Re: VP class 67 royal repaint.

I have a "Royal in the pack02 but not in 01? That is where the VP installer has installed the pack to even though it stipulates the EWS 67 only on the download page. There's a 67005-royal & 67006-royal in the pack 01 folder but no .out files in either. I also have 7 DBC-Royal AP folders too in pack...

Re: Armstrong Powerhouse scenarios

Whose definition? The fact that it's a separate pack requiring no purchase, to get around copyright issues. You buy a scenario pack and you're buying the scenarios not the extra stock reskins. This is true, but the purpose of the Extra Stock packs seems to be as a complementary extra to the scenari...

Re: Armstrong Powerhouse scenarios

and then run the installer for the extra stock. But the extra stock is supposedly freeware ; OK that (primarily?) gets around any copyright issues but by definition should be free for everybody. You shouldn't have to make a purchase to get the textures that are *missing* because they're in a paywar...

Re: Armstrong Powerhouse scenarios

So those of us who have the old packs that got removed have to buy “updated versions” again. Why can’t the just put the “updated version” and the old scenarios on the app then rather than charging 99p a scenario for something we have already technically paid 99p for as scenario packs were 4,99 It d...

Re: Ballast Tamper

Sounds like Holst to my (rather untrained) ears, and makes a pleasant change to the clichéd use of Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries :D Having never heard one of these units actually moving, I've no way of telling whether or not that is an accurate representation of the sounds they make when running! :...

Re: Is there a track swapping out tutorial somewhere?

Sometimes buffer stops are not marked as selectable by default, so depending on which type you want to use you may need to do some minor .bin file tinkering
