Re: Is there a track swapping out tutorial somewhere?

Thanks. Where do buffer stops exist within the Route Editor? Can't find them as usually they just come with the track laying automatically.

Re: Is there a track swapping out tutorial somewhere?

Fantastic. Thanks gptech. That's made the difference. Track swapped over successfully barring a few blue railhead bits around Peterborough, but I can live with that. I did indeed find some wooden sleepers in East Anglia  . Level crossings etc are fine and left intact. Next question. Can I retr...

Re: Is there a track swapping out tutorial somewhere?

I had to reinstall and go back to the start as I'd binned my .bak file. Not a massive issue. To avoid doing what I did before, how do I replace the <Provider d:type="cDeltaString">ATS</Provider> with <Provider d:type="cDeltaString">JustTrains</Provider> and <Product d:type="cDeltaString">ATSCommon</...

Re: Quick drive stock spawning

Thanks for this. How do I do the 'Search & Replace' / 'Find in multiple files' function in RWtools? I'd prefer that option than manually intervening with 60 odd consists

Re: Is there a track swapping out tutorial somewhere?

Hmm. Confused now. I thought the Tracks.bin was just to do with the track which is why I replaced all of the Provider/Product entries throughout the whole file. Going back to track rules which I haven't done anything with yet I notice it is currently the below in the tracks.bin <BlueprintID d:type="...

Re: Is there a track swapping out tutorial somewhere?

So I found out that the product was still saying ATScommon in many places so I swapped out for CommonLibrary. I now have track apart from a bit of missing track around Peterborough. Grrrr I've now strangely lost all of the level crossings on the Route, buffer stops and the PSR boards have dropped to...

Re: Is there a track swapping out tutorial somewhere?

Hmm. Thank you all.

It's not that I don't have it ticked. I do have JT and then common library ticked.

For the route in question I'm finding RailNetwork\TrackRules\ATS_Track_Rule in the main track.bin file. Where do I find the track rules .bin as there is nothing in the networks folder?

Hi gptech,

Thanks that's a lot clearer. Followed it through and replaced with the GU_Track\GU_Track_HL_conc_mixed_wide as I have all the JT Midland Mainline add-ons. However, now I have no track when I load the Route up. Anything I've missed?

Re: Is there a track swapping out tutorial somewhere?

I'm in the tracks.bin file within 'networks', but a bit overwhelmed with what I change and don't change. I'm assuming Track\Concrete1\AP_Concrete1_Track should go in there somewhere? Or another file directory for AP track enhancement and not sure I get the 'track rules' bit and whether that is relev...

Is there a track swapping out tutorial somewhere?

Apologies if this is somewhere obvious which I can't locate, but is there a track swap out tool or tutorial available? How hard is it to change the track for a route? Something a relative novice should even be attempting? The Route in question which I'm desperate to do something with is the Cambridg...

Re: Quick drive stock spawning

Unfortunately I didn't know that.

I've gone to the pre-load for the Class 411 which seems to be the problematic train spawning in the wrong era. I load up one of the BIN files in RWTools, but not sure what to investigate beyond that. Edit assets/content?

Quick drive stock spawning

Is there any way to dictate and choose which stock spawns in Quick Drive scenarios? My example is Chatham Main Line + Medway Valley. I have a lot of the AP stock suitable to this route in my library. When I just leave it to the game it is spawning all mixed up eras. I'm getting completely random AP ...

Re: TSW: Get to the Chopper!

Ah thank you. I was missing the second bit of the AWS leaver. That's sorted it.
