Re: Bedford Hitchin Branch
Hi there, Slipperman - I have many different routes installed: Westvale Ashburton Looe Kingsbridge Watersnake Sea View MR to Carlisle Highworth And the Foxfield branch. All of these are fine - as a matter of fact I've run the entire length of MR to Carlisle without a single problem. Just tried runni...

Re: Bedford Hitchin Branch
Hi there, Many many thanks for this, however, while it has improved operation in my other routes, the Bedford Hitchin still seems to find great lark in hideous garbled bleeping. I tried to pump up the numbers detailed above to 1024 and still no change. When exiting the program it reveals on Ta...

Re: Bedford Hitchin Branch
Hello there, thank you for the replies. MSTSBin is installed. It's only on this route - the defaults play perfectly fine. It's with any rolling stock, unfortunately. Namely, the problem is particularly severe with the default stock for the route. No changes at all since the installation. My laptop i...

Re: Bedford Hitchin Branch
I really have no luck whatsoever with this route. I try to run from either Bedford or Hitchin and it's impossible to leave the station without a high-pitched garbled bleeping and then the entire thing crashing, MSTS then closes itself. I try again, and the game refuses to allow it, shutting do...

A GER Class 209 'Coffee Pot' would be interesting to see, they're full of character and just reek of industrial use. Get some coal stacked on the saddle!

Re: Westvale - Running sound (?)
Hi PPMM55, I use headphones That's something I'd not thought of! It's quite possible that headphones will concentrate the sounds more than speakers. Have you tried the default Flying Scotsman on Westvale? Does it have the same 'extra' sounds? Have you tried 1143 on default S&C? with same results? G...

Re: Westvale - Running sound (?)
Hi PPMM55, Just a thought - do the speakers you use include a sub-woofer, ie 2.1 configuration? If so, the deeper notes will be amplified by the woofer and make it more intrusive to you. Ged I use headphones - as far as I know this isn't the case with them, but that's an excellent suggestion to loo...

Re: Westvale - Running sound (?)
Thank you all very much! It's very odd, though - the sound seems far more amplified on Westvale than any other route (in which case it's near enough impossible to hear). After installing and aliasing some of the GWR sound set it's certainly an improvement. Still more noticable than any other route t...
