Rich Garber in his "Ohio Rail" route has created an engine out of the female hiker! This female engine/hiker can be placed on a piece of track such as a siding, and you can watch trains go by. There's a piece of isolated (non-connected) track on the MidEast UK route that works okay for this (only ok...

Passing Train
I have found that there is a way that you can make your train pull into a siding and have another train pass you by. I have tried it on a couple of routes and it does work, but it has strict limitations. 1. Route your train off the main line into a siding that is next to the main line and has a sign...

AE-VCR -- if I knew how to get a 3-D view I would be happy to let you all know! No, I just meant the 2-D view of trains running over the route -- what should it be called? Sorry if I raised hopes, only to dash them against the rocks of my ignorance

Why do we bother with the activity packager at all? Why not simply gather all the activity's files together into a zipped folder and upload that? Then the downloader can unzip it, examine it, decide whether they want it or not. If they want it, move the files to their proper locations. It isn't diff...

Rigid Body Error
I have had this error when tinkering with some of my own activities. I have found that it occurs because a Loose Consist is too short for the piece of track on which it has been placed, e.g., too close to the buffers of a siding. It is easy to fix -- just grab the front unit and drag it away from th...
