Re: 3D Crafter - export to Blender

I'm sure the texture info must be exported. I used to import, exported. 3DS files into gmax when I converted my MSTS models into Trainz format. Unfortunately, I did this so many years ago I've now forgotten the exact procedure  but seem to remember having to do a blanket reapplication of textu...

No problems, Richard. I don't own a copy of the 2nd version the Talyllyn route and so I wouldn't have been able to try them out.

Just to add that I still retain the copyright to my locomotives (and derivatives) and stock, as well ;)

Re: DT 2251

And what a good looking model it still is. A big thank you for your contribution to the sim. Hi Kevin, I have your model of the Collet 0-6-0 and it really has stood the test of time,it looks as good to day as it did when it first came out all those years ago,it will worth seeing how it compares wit...

Re: DT 2251

Thanks to the people who still remember my models :) I don't normally post anymore, but I noticed that in the DT link in the first post, that DT state that my collet was an imported MSTS model. That is incorrect and the model was originally built for railworks. [album 22534 collet2013_2.jpg] Cheers,...

Re: Jolly Good Fun ... Narrow Gauge rails in North Wales

Speaking as someone who has probably made more NG virtual models then anyone else, then I have never had any qualms about issuing my nominally 2ft gauge stock to 2ft 3in gauge. The compromises to do this are very small and hardly noticeable. To be honest I doubt the average user would ever notice th...

Re: Invisible KngTrains Kings

Hi there, It's been ages since I made these locos, but from what I rememeber there was a fault with the supplied sound file which resulted in invisible locos if you didn't already have a copy of the RSC Tornado installed. I think this sound update file should hopefully solve the problem :- [uktsfile...

Re: FR Loco Prince

I've not heard from Chris for a while, so not sure if he has had any chance to have a look at prince, yet.

I'm waiting to get hold of a new computer, before I can start work again on these models.

Re: Leek & Manifold

Just a quick note to say that I haven't forgotten this loco I was making, and am about to start on the texturing of the model :- https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7398/13756262445_24f16d91c9_b.jpg My one query, before restarting, is to ask Richard if he has, perhaps, started work on his own version, as...
