There are some industrial pipes over here that can be used as a part of a refinery complex
[uktsfile 17140]
Also, the refinery objects mentioned are utilised in NWEV3, so if you've got that route, you can lift them from there. Search for "LHW" (Long Haired Wizard) in the shapes files

Re: Water troughs in Winter
Hi Brian,
I think that you need to also place the appropriate track .s & .sd files into your routes SHAPES folder and change the ESD to (1) there.
It would be interesting to then see what happens if you also change the ESD levels in the Global folders back to (2)

Re: Water troughs in Winter
Hi Brian Glad it worked. I admit that my memory isn’t what it used to be, but doesn’t msts “look” in the route folder first for all shape and texture files, and only goes to the global files if cannot find them locally? If so, try adding the appropriate files to your route folder and see if that sol...

Re: Water troughs in Winter
I'm not sure if you've tried this, but Is it not just a case of altering the appropriate shapes .sd file's ESD_Alternative_Texture line to read :-
ESD_Alternative_Texture ( 1 )
??
ESD_Alternative_Texture ( 1 )

Re: Dodgy trackwork
Hi Ken, Assuming that you've no back up? If you've not altered any other trackwork, then simply copy and paste the appropriate .W file and .tdb from an "original" copy of the route. You'll lose any scenery modifications you've done on that tile though. Failing that, If you can still drive trains acr...

Re: A question about Route Editor
Hi Ken
I'm presuming that you're using Windows 10? If so, I've found RE quite sluggish to respond.
Try using TSRE instead.
It might also be worth using an old trick to place a sound source on the start tile, which can help.

Re: Aligning viaducts over gradients
Here's how to do it... 1) Highlight the track section and make a note of the xyz coordinates 2) Place your viaduct in the approximate position, save and again note the xyz coordinates 2) Open the corresponding world file in word pad and do a search for the track section and viaduct using the same co...

Re: World file + TDB not sync
In the days long before TSRE, where the tdb lines are intact but no track section showing, I've actually created 'dummy' track sections to cover the gap
Works a treat!

Re: World file + TDB not sync
Have you tried just copying the world tile containing the dynamic track from your back up and dropping it into your work in progress and overwriting?
If the tdb is still intact then that should work

Hi Eric, Sorry to be the bearer of unfortunate news... Although running the sim under win 10 is fine, unfortunately all is not well in AE, and I know that is important to you :( See:- http://tsforum.forumotion.net/t1279-problem-with-activity-editor#17797 i.e. there's a problem when trying to create ...

Re: World file + TDB not sync
Sorry, only just spotted this. How I would try to resolve is as follows... 1)From your 'good' backup, copy the tdb and tdbbk up files and use them to overwrite the same files in your 'current' route folder. (having first backed those up!) 2) In RE navigate to the tile(s) in question. There you shoul...

Re: Help with Leeds, Settle Carlisle v2.0 route
OK, It's fairly straightforward to bridge the gap with a Dynamic track piece. From your post it looks like you are competent with the Route Editor. So, starting from the edge furthest away from the canopy, insert your dynamic track piece and adjust to the following settings:- Length Start 2.000 Leav...
