Well, with my limited experience, I'll try to solve your problem. Once you have loaded your assets, did you save your route, exited the route and re-entered it? Whenever I want to see "blue sky bug" disappear, I have to do that!

Hello again, after some fruitless effort with PSP and PS, I downloaded Gimp, complete with DDS plugin. After installing Gimp and converting a Google Earth JPG into DDS with good result, I was left with one obstacle... creating a border in an alpha channel. Anyone know how to make one? Ok, I've made another step forward today. I had the blue sky bug but sorted it out but I'm still unable to generate the terrain. More to it is that I'm unable to download anything from the USGS site to get my DEM!

Oh well... I'll keep trying!

Ok, I managed to get the maps but now, I can't get the terrain to pop up!

The "t" is not working but my HGT files might be corrupted or wrong so I'll check them out later on.
