Thanks for responding. I've fired up MSTS again and yes, I'm afraid there are definitely several signals there that are not present in OR :/ . Thanks for testing it, look forward to hearing back. I guess that will tell us whether it's an OR problem or an issue with my setup.

I am running Dorset Coast V6 that was upgraded from the V3 CD version. Everything works fine apart from the fact that there are no roads whatsoever in the route. There are therefore bridges with nothing on them and level crossings with no roads connecting to them.

How do I remove the sound from the powered coaches of the Virgin Voyagers (in my case 'Dorset' and 'Springfield')?
They are causing a lot of distortion and crackling.
