Re: A very rare combo
Well done mate on getting so much stuff out, especially at this time of year. I second that, I don't know how you achieve the work rate and just as important, the quality. I've been working on an unofficial 80 mile extension to a large route for 12 years. I've got all the track, nearly all the road...

What's showing where the sleepers should be? I've made considerable modifications to a Finescale route with TSRE and never seen a blank between the rails.peacockg wrote:... Some of the track pieces show the sleepers when laid in TSRE, and some do not....Garry

Re: Aligning viaducts over gradients
TSRE has another function to help with aligning objects. Click and select the track, then use either "Copy Rotation" or "Copy Position and Rotation" Place your viaduct/platform and click the relevant "Paste" if the object is at 90 degrees to the track, use the "Rotate 90" button. Garry Yes indeed, ...

Re: Aligning viaducts over gradients
Hi, TSRE also has an align with track function. Select "Stick to Target" checkbox in the "Objects" toolset. Select object to be aligned with track and select "Place New" Click on the section of track to which the object should be aligned. Object is now aligned exactly with track and only needs to be...

Hi,
I haven't travelled on the 159s for a few years but looking at videos of the recently refurbished versions the first class is on the cab end of one of the DMSLs in each set.

Re: 3D cab for Class 73 diesel/electric
Hi, That looks good. Once you've driven a 3D cab, the shortcomings of the old 2D cabs become very evident. I look forward to the release of this one and hope you can produce more. I seem to spend a lot of time driving Class 158/9 DMUs and would rather like a 3D version of that if you could fit it in...

Re: Plymouth to Penzance
How do you keep up this sort of work rate and quality? It's phenomenal.
This'll be another great route to add to the MSTS/OR portfolio.
Looking forward to its completion

Re: North Wales Coast
Hi, I don't know the reason OR does this, and until a solution can be found, I suggest that Service 1A66 is removed from the .act file; making this mod allows the Player to depart Chester correctly ... I haven't looked at this yet but another option is to re-schedule 1A66 and/or alter its percentag...

Re: Problem with track
Hi, I presume from this you're using Open Rails. I think you may have "Superelevation" selected in the options and have no pattern for OR to use for dynamic track. Select Options, select the Experimental tab and see what you have for Superelevation Level. If it is not zero, you will get the effect y...

Hi,
I remember reading about your route, nice to see it restrarted. I'm only a dabbler with modelling and have only used TrainSim Modeller but there's a lot of info for Open Rails modelling on forums such as trainsim.com and Elvas Tower.

Re: 3D cab for Class 37 Diesel
In answer to your questions, the shape of the actual locomotive is not visible at all when you are in cab view. Hi, I've been using your Class 47 / Falcon cabs and it struck me that the Engine and Equipment rooms could be modelled as well. Think of that for a cab change - walk from end to end of th...
