Strange error - When I open the F3 driving window while the train is moving, RS completely crashes and I have to start it up all over again. This only happens when the train is moving. Could the MK2 upgrade be the culpret?
Great route, much fun to drive.
Thanks,
Robert

Re: Adding fuel to britomart
It seems that I have overlooked the need to change the file to a .bin file. Where can I get instructions to how to use serz.exe? When I open britomart.bin, it's mostly in jibberish. I must have missed reading a manual somewhere...

Re: Adding fuel to britomart
I just tried changing the value to 1.000000, but it doesn't seem to do much good. I tried deleting the train and putting it back in in scenarios. There might have been a couple of scenarios I missed, could that have made a difference? I even made new scenarios, but it still sticks at 167. :( Here's ...

Adding fuel to britomart
I am trying to increase the level of coal in Kevin Martin's eccelent model of Britomart. It only carries 168 pounds in the coal bin, and if I drive for more than twenty minutes, I've run out. I've gone into the Britomart.xtml file and increased the capacity from 1.0 to 1000.0, but when I go into krs...

Corris Railway Pathing Problems
Ever since I downloaded the Corris Railway it's been behaving rather strangely. I can't get any scenarios to work, no matter how simple. I've tried everything, and I know it's a path problem. It seems that railsim doesn't understand that the tracks connect at the junctions. I've driven the route in ...

Do you think RS will support manual gears? (Like the MSTS Kiha)

Gears
I noticed that on the HUD for class 166 DMU shows what gear setting you're in. Is there any way to control the gears or are they automatic?

Re: MSTS Bin and Ffestiniog
Great News! I installed the Ffestiniog CD from UKTS and it solved the entire problem. Everything works now. One last question. Does anyone else's Ffestiniog generate terrain buffers every time it loads? It doesn't seem to be a problem, but it just generates the terrain buffers really fast and then g...

Making MSTS Routes Rail sim routes
I've been thinking of making some of my favorite old MSTS routes Rail sim routes. Has anyone out there come up with any little shortcut to possibly avoiding remaking the route from scratch?
Thanks,
Robert

Re: MSTS Bin and Ffestiniog
Yes I did apply the patch, and it didn't help my situation. The patch did do its job that it was supposed to do. I'm out of town at the moment (Visiting the Ffestiniog Railway Actually
) and waiting for my CD order to arrive. Hopefully I can get a fresh start with the CD.

Re: MSTS Bin and Ffestiniog
I originally downloaded the file from uktrainsim with the packaged version for people having trouble with the winzip unpacker. I decided to buy the CD and try it from there. Maybe a fresh start will help.

Re: Hayling Island Branch uploaded
For some reason there is no wooden bridge, just track out in the air on mine. Was the bridge a default Railsim object, or was I supposed to download it separately?
Great route by the way.
