Re: Class 411/412 - 4Cep/4Bep coming from AP
I buy it just for the sake of it going by that video. I haven't use TS for a couple of years as I'm using OR. The features on the 411 is as real as it gets. Especially that additional camshaft/resistor graph. AP have been doing extra homework on this. I was waiting for the wiper to throw out some wi...

Re: 3D cabview for Class 317 Electric Multiple Units
Hi Geoff. I cannot access Atomic Album ATM, So I will link some pictures. The Traction Interlock light is not on the driver's front desk as I originally thought. All other EMU cabs have this light on the front desk. On the 317/316, cabs, the door light is above the drivers side and non drivers side,...

Re: 3D cabview for Class 317 Electric Multiple Units
Thanks Geoff. This is the first UK EMU cab for OR. I have been using your cab for the MT 317/318 and EB 317 EMUs. The door buttons are a nice addition, as well as the AWS via the script! I have been using my own 2D cab on these EMUS for years, so with the 3D cab and the ability to move and pan aroun...

Re: Chiltern Line Continued
I do not have specifics but in testing activities on the route we found that they need a recent version of the Unstable version of OR to run correctly. Well most of the MSTS activities under OR do not work as intended, but they do run without any serious issues. My problem( was) seems to be graphic...

Re: Chiltern Line Continued
X1.3.1-35-g842e626d is not the "Unstable" version. The Chiltern route is designed to work with the "Unstable" version. I said unstable version that still supports XP. There are a lot of new features that I cannot use, especially monogame. May ask what specifically what the unstable version can do, ...

Re: Chiltern Line Continued
Hi I'm still using the last unstable version that supported XP. Logging was enabled at all times, as I was checking certain errors on the rolling stock used on the mentioned activities as well as the SigCFG file. Completely forgot about the logging/memory issue. Thanks for bringing that to my attent...

Re: Chiltern Line Continued
Finally got around to installing this route, as well as the patches. As I understand, the route is fully scenerize in certain areas. I tried the "Ealing Trainspotting" activity and notice half bridges suspended in mid-air? I take it this is correct and not an install problem on my part? On the " Gol...

Re: Computer micro freezes
Hi, if the heatsink has come away from the chip, the whole heatsink will need to come off to clean off the old paste from both the heatsink and chip. Then new compound added before reassembling, or you're setting yourself up for a whole lot of head scratching bother. Yep, I done precisely that. I m...

Re: Tractive Effort Calculation
Essentially level, certainly as far as TS2020, which treats anything less than 1 in 200 as level, is concerned anyway. Surely this has been address by now? It's been 5 years since I last mentioned this! https://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic.php?f=372&t=143108. It's also been 5 years since firing ...

Re: Routes Tsection.DAT file
Once the locat tsection.dat is corrupted the only way back is via a backup copy, or possibly a tsection.bak file if it exists. All of the dynamic track pieces will be missing from the route because MSTS and OR will have no data to use when placing these sections. That is what I thought. I was unsur...

Routes Tsection.DAT file
If a routes Tsection.dat file becomes corrupt/damaged or trashed, does this mean all dynamic pieces are lost? Is it possible to make a new one where all the existing dynamic track pieces can be found within the route itself.
Hope this makes sense!
Thanks

Re: Animated engine driver
Hi Geoff Finally got around to installing this. It's so good, I'm updating my trainsets with Driver Joe. One question: Visibility ( "Outside,Cab3D,Cab2D" ) Does this make him visible in external and internal views? I'm using an older version of OR that supports XP, so unsure if these parameters work...
