Re: WCML South Class 350

Useful thread this, if nothing else than to identify who is helpful and who isn't. My first use of this Class 350 iteration had me stumped with the DSD. I found myself using the mouse to look down in the cab and click on the dead-man's pedal (or whatever you want to call it for pedantry). What I fou...

Re: BMG/AP Class 50 coming soon

The screenshot on the teaser Facebook announcement was incredible - had to do a double take to check if I was looking at a photograph. I managed to trick my old chap with it when I showed him... Will monitor this one with great interest as I never could get the Steam released Class 50 to show correc...

Re: Voice actor needed

If you want a voice actor, you can find some very reasonably priced ones on Fiverr.com. I've used actors on there before to provide narration on some audio-visual programs/documentaries I have made. Can't stand the sound of my own voice when recorded. 8)

Re: Reworked Class 390 "Pendolino" from DTG

I think you've missed the point David: Peter was questioning why dingerb seemingly seems (seemed?) to think that this model couldn't be used on WCML-N. It's got nothing to do with whether anybody prefers to drive Pendos or not. That was surposed to have been a joke. The class 390 can be driven on a...

Re: DTG Woodhead BR Blue Era

Will look forward to this one... Some nice thrash opportunities for classic traction.

Hopefully this sells well and can be used as a market marker for '1970s and 80s' backdating of some other routes.

Re: Train Simulator 2018 - what's included

I'm getting crash dumps on NWC - been the only route I've played since the update. All in quick drive... using 3rd party traction. JT 20s, AP 40... AP 37406. From either Llandudno or Crewe end as the starting point, it happens about 2/3 of the way through the journey. Twice this has happened coinci...

What happens if you use default stock?
Will have to check... but the prospect of driving a Voyager, 158 or 175 doesn't fill me with an 'I'll look forward to that' feeling!! 8)

Re: Train Simulator 2018 - what's included

I cobbled together a pair of JT BR Blue 20s and a 6 car rake of WCML Mk2a as a quick drive consist ready to work something like the 1644 (?) Llllllllllandudddddno to Derby 'potteries holidaymaker' from back in 1991. Enjoyed that as far as Rhyl, when it became bed-time. Looking forward to thrashing ...

I was being ironic in my post about the 323. If the winky emoji wasn't enough to stop you from taking the bait, I give up.

Re: North Wales Coastal and Train Simulator 2018 - Coming soon

As Nick mentioned earlier in the thread, he and I are looking at the possibility of regressing this to the BR Blue period and possibly extending it but, of course, we have not seen what DTG will publish yet and what assets they will provide with the route. The big problem with getting to Holyhead i...

Re: Locomotive Wish List.

For me I would really like to see a class 26 (preferably later refurb version), a new class 50, Class 81 &/or 85 electric, Class 107, 108, 121 & 122 DMUs and class 309 EMU (refurb version). Steve I was going to add something about a more up to date Class 50 model. One we can't talk about, the other...

Re: Return To The Sim And Immediate Concern

That tool is a miracle worker Kev :) -- In other news, I noticed that when I was deploying some re-skins from the UK TrainSim archives I have that the 'read me' document asks you to copy/paste the relevant loco '.geopcdx' (or whatever) from Location A to Location B. That's nothing new to me and was ...
