Re: TS Tools not finding Provider/Products

Hi John, Re your para 1. "List QD Consists", there are some problems with this option (it lists other things besides consists), however it runs as did the RW_Tools version if you remove the ticks on the 2 boxes, Rolling stock only and on Exclude Preloads. I am looking at all the items in this thread...

Re: TS Tools not finding Provider/Products

I have two different French routes which use custom assets from different providers When I go in to TS Tools > Route Building Tools > Check Routes and Scenarios I highlight the route and then click on Show Provider / Products in selected route And I then highlight a P/P and click on Display Items f...

Re: TS Tools not finding Provider/Products

Thanks for the bug report Peter, I confirm that does not work in TS-Tools - I suppose not one in a thousand users would use that option, hence no bug reports before. :-)

Re: UKTS Freeware Pack Locos

P749 It could be from around 2011 I have \STEAM\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\RailVehicles\Diesel\Class37\FP_BY_BR Blue_W01_Domino\Engine, but it has a bin file not a xml one ie Class37_ukts.bin. pH pH, TS Tools tells you it is looking for abc.xml but in fact it is looking fo...

Re: Just Trains Possibly Unnecessary Huge Downloads

I have come to the conclusion that no-one ever reads any instructions. Since Christmas, I have had 15 emails from users who complain that they get an Error 339 in TS-Tools with regard to the file SuperPicture2.ocx being missing or not registered. In every case I send out the same email quoting from ...

Re: Latest TS Tools not saving changes.

Sorry, but I don't have that route or stock, so can't check it here to see where the problem lies. As far as I know the options in TS-Tools to swap stock works fine (at least I have not had anyone report problems recently).

Does anyone else have this route/stock who would be able to check?

Re: Question on handling AP files and archiving routes

Hi Andrew, 1. The latest version of TS-Tools shows all missing items on a page headed 'The following Asset(s) were missing from this route'' in black writing on a white background. 2. If the program can't find anything in the route's 'Scenery' folder, then you get the message box as under:- http://w...

Re: Question on handling AP files and archiving routes

I've done some further tests and TS tools seems to list everything in the first screen, unless I unpack, for example, these assets exist and not in AP files https://i.imgur.com/lMUHYfR.png Not sure how/what you are checking here as these appear to be the content of a Quick Drive Scenario? How did y...

Re: Question on handling AP files and archiving routes

CHeers Mike, What if the route i am checking uses a lot of DTG assets? For example (in this case, a victoryworks steam asset) i am checking the cambridge route at the moment and its reporting the victoryworks saint missing. This is packed in an AP within the victoryworks folder. AM i right in sayin...

Re: Question on handling AP files and archiving routes

Thanks Mike and thank you for such a useful program Just another one from me - I presume that to check the routes i still need to unpack though? Otherwise it will report missing assets? If not I've obviously made a mistake somewhere. When I have run the index route properties I get a stop message "...

Re: Question on handling AP files and archiving routes

Hi Andrew, RW_Tools has now been superseded by TS-Tools on my site www.agenetools.com it is freeware. The program now has options under the 'Route Building Tools' menu of 'Extract RouteProperties.xml' and 'Index RouteProperties' as well as 'Extract ScenarioProperties.xml' in the Scenarios menu. Once...

Re: Large TgPcDx file causing Out of Memory Error

Thanks Chris, personally I have no ideas about the details of texture files which is why TS-Tools uses Martin Wright's various texture tools with his permission.

I hope you manage to fix this problem as I imagine files of such size will bring TS2021 to a sudden slow down.

Re: Large TgPcDx file causing Out of Memory Error

Sorry Chris, no ideas about this one, why on earth would a texture file be anything like 84MB in size?

Very sorry to hear this news, Nick and I have had many talks over the years. He gave me a lot of feedback about my programs.

Re: RWTools

The only reason their are two programs is that the source code for RW_Tools was lost in a hard-drive problem, and the backups were slightly older. When I went back to compile it again, a 3rd party program I was using within my code would no longer work and I could not contact its author. So in the e...
