Community CD's

I thought I would post this here because I suspect there are a few newcomers like myself who don't want to be bothered with the vagaries of downloading and setting up routes on MSTS. Southern region

I am still, slowly, finding my way way round MSTS and must have done several re-installs during the process. It all seems to me to be very flakey - perhaps because the basic prog is so old. Re: boot camp

just to add some support ! I too have only ever had Apple Macs, and have the boot camp partition on my new imac set up just for MSTS. windows is very confusing, and seemimgly illogical. (I am a maths graduate) probably only illogical because we are not used to it. I have heard the same thing from P...

Tag, Assuming you've gone for a standard install of MSTS, the activity editor can be found from the Start Menu, Programs, Microsoft Games, Train Simulator and then selecting Train Simulator Editors & Tools. Yeah thats what I thought - only it ain't there!! There is a folder called UTILS but it is n...

I'm a follower of the 16mm list. Would you like some narrow gauge stock?

Cheers

Thanks Terry - only I cannot find the 'Activity Editor' Have tried file search. This is really awkward, I have used computers for years but have never had much to do with PC programs and find it really confusing. How do I find the Activity Editor?? :-)

Many thanks for your help guys. It was indeed the .bat file and once run all was fine. I will explore (and try downloading) some more - but given that I work at home some 250 miles away from the office, this is really digging in to my work time :-). In fact I have been keeping a weather eye on this ...

I wonder if anyone can help me with this problem. I am new to both MSTS and PC's - in fact I am a Mac user and running WinXP and MSTS on my new Wintel Mac - so I am not really at home with PC programs and would be grateful if you could bear with me. Anyway, I have MSTS +plus several commercial addon...
