Thanks everyone. It now loads in under ten seconds! I will use Trainstore to store all activities bar the one I want. Will bear it in mind for any other large routes such as Dorset Coast 3.

Nope - still doesn't work!
Nope - I'm sorry but it is still taking 18 minutes! I have Trainstore already and have used it to store all my routes except Thames Mersey so it is the only one available to MSTS. I had a thought it might be my AVG anti-virus program affecting MSTS again (like it has done in the past) but switching ...

Thames Mersey 4.2 DVD
Hi all I am having problems with the Thames Mersey DVD. I have installed it and it is taking 18 MINUTES to load MSTS with just the one route installed! Even then I can't run it as it crashes out of MSTS as soon as I try to run an activity. It comes up with various error messages and stops. Any ideas...
