Re: Computer advice

Just got a message saying my computer is running slowly. What does this mean? I have just been playing Bioshock for about an hour. I am sure this machine is faulty. Kind regards James James, I really doubt that it is faulty. Where did you see this message and or what program gave you this message ?...

Re: Computer advice - The Sims 3

There is lots of sites with suggestions for solving problems, some work, some dont. If you want to pm me I might be able to suggest a possible way to help you if you but...

Re: Computer advice

Hi John, Thanks for your post. Have not heard from you for a while. I hope you are keeping well. I have managed to get all the files on my SSD now but it still stutters. So it is not a Drive issue. My problem is that all my Expansion packs are Downloads so I can't keep re-installing too many times....

Re: Computer advice

Thanks for the link it is quite interesting. Now I know it is not a Hard Drive problem I can look in other directions. Is anyone out there running the Sims 3 on a higher performance machine and is it working? Kind regards James. I have had many problems getting the sim3 working recently and it took...

Re: Update?

I think the update has cause a slight hiccup with my copy of TS2012 as when i came to play it this morning i got the error: C:\program files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\railworks\railworks.exe When i went to the folder i had found that the program has vanished, does that mean i have to do a verific...

Re: Legacy Mode

The behaviour of doors, pantographs, the dispatcher, trains physics etc should be identical for all RW3 users regardless of TSX being on or off. Correct, which is why I pointed out that the example used ( the class 317 ) does need a update as the faults noted were not limited to "legacy" mode. John

Re: Legacy Mode

And before anyone says, that's down to the model maker, my point is, legacy mode isn't the same as RW2, to me it's more of a "hybrid" mode. This has been tried on two different PC's in both RW2, ( perfect ) and RW3 legacy mode, ( behaving as above ). Chris. I take your point but just so you know it...

Re: Running Several "instances" of RW3

Just to be clear, when I am doing this I am logged into steam and all I do is navigate to the Railworks folder I created and double click on the railworks.exe file. The launcher opens and I can then load Railworks and select a route to load. Prior to this update, in RW2 to do the same thing I had to...

Re: Train Simulator 2012 (Part 3)

but a simple tick box to give you the choice to play them without the unlocking element should not be too difficult to add and a few other non-lockable scenarios for general use would help too. It may not be the easiest way but the tick box to unlock it already exists in the editor in the scenario ...

Re: Train Simulator 2012 (Part 3)

I can't get past the cursed shunting scenario's first!! so it's been wasted money for me and I wish I'd gone for a loco by Voldemort that I was weighing up between that and HSC. The best thing about a simulator as opposed to a traditional game is the sense of freedom of choice and vastness. Bad mov...
