Re: Is MSTS working for you under Windows 10
Hi Ged, Yes I did install the latest drivers from Nvidia but it didn't make any difference. Its a bit of a mystery problem and I don't think I want to spend too much time trying to track it down, probably take the easy option and roll back to W7. Overall I think my PC was faster in W7 anyway. Regard...

Re: Is MSTS working for you under Windows 10
Hi all, I've just upgraded to Windows 10 from 7. Initially I was well pleased when MSTS opened and ran as normal both from Train Store and Mini Routes, with slightly improved frame rates, that is until I switched to an external view. Then frame rates dropped to single figures and stayed there until ...

Re: Activity Editor mystery
You were right, there was a "rogue" TRK file in my MSTS folder, not sure how or why it got there but problem now solved.
Many thanks,
Andy.

Activity Editor mystery
Hello all and a happy new year. After installing Glasgow Carlisle V4, having removed the earlier version first, I have a problem with Activity Editor. When opening the editor and selecting new (activity) the drop down route list contains 2 entries for GlasCarV4. This occurs when the both the full in...

Graphics issue ?
Hi all, Have finally taken the plunge into Open Rails and so far am very impressed. I've just got one issue, from certain angles one side of the train ( and sometimes trackside buildings) appears black. Moving the camera angle to a more square on view restores the colours. I am running on what is no...

AE mini route question
Hi All, I've been working on an activity for MEP and have run into a problem with my AI traffic pattern. To get back to a known point where everything worked I removed several AI services. Having identified the problem I now want to reinstate some of the services back into the traffic pattern. The s...

Re: MEP Broad St Shuttle
Hi all, I've now run this activity without a save and everything was fine. The two previous failed attempts had both had a save at Bowes Park with the train in the siding and after changing ends. I'm wondering if the timing of the save is relevant with regard to the position of the service you end u...

Re: MEP Broad St Shuttle
Hi All, My failed attempt with this activity included a save at Bowes Park and I'm wondering if this could be a contributing factor ( one of those inexplicable MSTS oddities maybe). I haven't had chance to run the activity through again without saving yet, I'll report back when I have. regards, Andy.

MEP Broad St Shuttle
Hi all, I'm having trouble with this activity, on the return journey I get stuck at a red signal half a mile north of Finsbury Park, I am on time at this point. Eventually if I wait long enough (around 25 minutes) the sim freezes and has to be exited via task manager. I have tried the MSTS shuffle b...

Re: MEP Route.
This solution worked for me,Hi everyone
I think you will find the problem in MEP-MK1-TC-BG.WAG.
On line 45 there is a stray ( 26 ). Take this out and I think all is good.
Martin

Andy.

Re: MEP Route.
Hi Art,
What I meant was that if the Morning Parcels from Cambridge train contains the same item of rolling stock as the Lincoln Parcels that could be the cause of the problem.
Regards,
Andy.
