Re: Can you consolidate your stock/locos?

P749 I sympathise with you on this duplication problem, and unfortunately it may not be something easy to fix. Most DTG routes these days are in the .ap file format (for easy verification) and these in turn call for an Asset .ap file associated with that route – which as you say can contain duplicat...

Re: TS2021 reduced to a crawl

Mojo The 461.40 (win 10) works fine in TS and there is a Win 7 version. However read this: Requirement for Obtaining NVIDIA Drivers for Windows 7 Microsoft now provides only SHA-2 signed drivers. If your Windows 7 system is NOT equipped to detect SHA-2, you need to install the SHA-2 update support p...

Open Device Manager, Display adapters - how many are listed? If 2 disable the one that is not the GTX 1070.
What Nvidia driver are you using?
What are your settings in the Nvidia control panel?
Have you run dxdiag - any error messages?
Changed any settings in windows 7?

Re: My Historic Railway Photos

Alan Many of my posts have far more - follow the links to other pages, and Gary's advice will make sense, honest. You'll also see that I've tried to add captions to all the individual photos, as well as on the main page. I am US at FB so how do you do that? - I can't see a LINK to other pages! The l...

Re: Lighting problem

Peter749
I've seen that in a few UK scenarios recently it seems to occur more around the time early morning light might change to full daylight (but not always).
RWEnhancer Pro? An explanation would be great.

Aren't all the browsers now chromium-based (Edge included) with only FireFox being different?

Re: Just Trains weather preset.

We probably need Gary's input on your query - but the only figures that are changeable are in that FogColour section. The AP Weather EP for thick fog is quite different in the fogcolour section: <FogColour> <cHcColour> <Red d:type="sFloat32" d:alt_encoding="00000080EB51D83F" d:precision="string">0.3...

AWS cancelling indicator

In a couple of routes, I have seen a lineside indicator - a white cross on a blue background - named 'AWS Cancelling Indicator'. What does it actually do? Do you as a driver have to acknowledge it in any way? Hopefully below is a screenshot. How do you post screenshots these days - still use Atomic ...

Many thanks for the tip - I hadn't changed any settings from the old forum to this new one and that was the issue.

Re: Just Trains Possibly Unnecessary Huge Downloads

P749 And you don't actually know if JT also did some other changes to these items apart from those mentioned. Sorry, but I don't buy that - if JT takes the trouble to say for example, that they are updating just a scenario, then you would think that they might mention if something else as equally (u...

Re: Just Trains weather preset.

The Great Western has a "thick fog" variant, NewC to Edinburgh a "Foggy" one.
These were the only 2 that I know of - but you could use TSTools to edit any JT scenario and in SET WEATHER check all the JT weather variants available.
