Re: The LYR Heartland - 1920
This morning I can see a front page, very much a work in progress, with nowhere to log in. Link to the forum works fine, but the links to downloads are not there. Hopefully the situation will improve sooner rather than later.

Re: The LYR Heartland - 1920
Right now it is impossible to download anything because the server is once again having a hissy fit. The software it is running is ancient and no longer meets the microsoft web standards. Definitely hit or miss ( more miss ) as to wether your browser will even load the home page properly any longer....

Re: Routes Tsection.DAT file
Horace is only able to convert an existing low numbered tsection into a high numbered version to fit with the standard Global tsection. RR can only produce a new global tsection for a route and tsutils can only check that new version.

Re: Routes Tsection.DAT file
Once the locat tsection.dat is corrupted the only way back is via a backup copy, or possibly a tsection.bak file if it exists. All of the dynamic track pieces will be missing from the route because MSTS and OR will have no data to use when placing these sections.

Re: OR can't see the loaded file
OK. Without a consist they will not show in the locomotive choice dropdown. There are several utilities to make consists with, but probably the easiest to use is Conbuilder. There is an early version available in the library here. You can also check the folder in Trainset and see if it includes a co...

Re: Class 08 with serious "problem"
Doug From your description of events it seems that you might be running an older version of OR than is current. fo9r some time now OR has not allowed stock with a mix of air and vacuum braking parameters to run. Like Ged, I have all three axles visible. By making the brake parameters pure vacuum I w...

There is a loose consist which is too long for the siding. The car is either hanging off the end or fouling a set of points.

Re: Route Riter Dynatrax Errors
You have a proper mish mash of paths there that should all be pointing to the same folder in the same way. The standard annotation is ..\\..\\routes\\SDJR\\shapes\\DynaTrax-40008.s this being taken from one of the world files of the Somerset & Dorset route, using the same path method as we use for s...

Re: Route Riter Dynatrax Errors
I think that Route Riter is showing those files as missing because it cannot resolve the indicated path. The normal method of pathing in MSTS uses two slashes, not four.I would be inclined to check the path in the world files of a file that is not missing, but in the same folder as those claimed to ...

There should be something in your OR Log file that will show what OR cannot find, usually it is something to do with the S file when a train item is not displayed.

Re: Open Rails Route Installation procedure please.
There is no need to put a route through RouteRiter to get OR to recognize it. As long as the profile has been recognized by OR, simply adding a route to the profile makes it available for use. The route profile must NOT be inside of the OR folders.
