Congrats, Chris!
Only had time for a quick peek up to now (downloaded it 30 mins ago!), but first impressions are GREAT! :D
Looking forward to shifting a few tons of anthracite about later this evening, when the "ankle-biters" are tucked up in bed!!

Cheers

Just downloaded and ran around it, it's a lovely route. I do like the weed-cluttered track, the encroaching trees, and the long narrow cutting, it gives a nice nostalgic feel to it. And that's a brilliant touch at Foxfield, the working ropeway at the colliery

Its a great little line. Ive started setting up an activity involving shunting coal wagons inbetween hoards of J94 opperated trains. I might release it if i can get the permissions... its been bugging me how to get it finished on time all evening!

Go ahead and release it. You do not need permissions to use stock in an activity.

Seems like a reasonable question to me?

Parsfan, like me, is impressed by the screen shots and, like me, would like to know a bit more about the route.

The sort of detail that will eventually go in the route registery......

Not everyone has broadband, or come to that easy to connect to dial up. You've obviously put shed loads of effort into creating it so an answer to a reasonable question can't be much effort?

Hi
Well this is my description ...its built in UK finescale, single line from the colliery to the exchange sidings on a twin track mainline with a station.
It is about 6 miles long, accurate, demanding gradients and well built with full scenery.
Nearest comparison Thaxted (without the colliery).
Cheers
Jon

Thanks Jon.

The scenery looks excellent in the screenshots. Obviously a shunters route mainly?

Yep, sums it up well (although more like 4 miles). Its designed to be used for shunting and repeat trips rather then just going from end to the other, although even that isn't easy with the gradients. If anyone wants to release activities then please go ahead.

OK, will definatly download this route. As someone who comes from a mining community (ex due to Thatcher) this route sound like it will be of great interest.

P.S. Any pickets at the colliery for that added realism ;-)
