Hi Robert, thanks for clarifying that you will be at the show, as you know I always pop over to meet the pair of you for a chat.

I had considered visiting this year but the weather and potential travel conditions have made me decide to miss this show. Perhaps if the DIY team is at Keighley in March then that may be a worthwhile trip?
Alec

PS I'm definitely visiting the Preston show this year!

Hi Mike and Robert, as you know I arrived just before 11am. and after having a chat went round the rest of the show
in the main hall before coming back to help out.
You had a regular number of visitors all the time I was there and hope that this continued today to make the effort
worthwhile for the two of you putting on your display.
There seemed to me a more people interested in what was on show and several had no idea what was going on and
asked how could they get started.
The UkTrainsim Sheet giving details were available as normal and I explained that the site was free to view and if they
wished they could join again at no cost and once a member they could post questions on the Train Simulator Forums so
that they could learn more about our world.
I left around 2pm and arrived back on Tyneside around 2 hours later and had enjoyed the trip over as I do every year.
See you at Keighley in March which is a busy month for Model Railway exhibitions up in the north as we have the small
Birtley show on the first weekend followed my Jarrow the next one.

Cheers,
Bob

A good show, I had a few issues on the Saturday with scenarios not working as they should of done (I'm convinced the sim acts differently in offline mode), but Sunday the tables turned and my setup ran well and Mikes decided to act up.

As Bob said, a good visitor base, some new members hopefully and acouple of TS users said hello.

And too top it off, we MAY have an invite to a new one day show at Kirby Stephen :)

Sounds good Robert. Always good to hear about the shows members are attending and demonstrating at.
