Hi Robert, they have been refurbishing the hall and again this was a show I used to go to and glad it is back on the circuit.
It is only a short 5-10mins walk from the station and if necessary you could watch the steam trains on the Haworth line after
going to the show.
It is a easy drive for me and there is ample free parking nearby and usually take the car and enjoy the drive down to that
venue.

Hi Robert and Mike, I will be coming down on the Sunday and arriving around Lunchtime as I will be popping over to see
the Heywood Model Railway show the previous day.
I did hope that I could do both in one day in the train as the parking at Warwick Mill Middleton is not as good as at Keighley
so I'll be using the train on the Saturday but will now come down to Keighley in the car as I do enjoy the trip down to Yorkshire.

I will be at the Middleton show sometime between 10:30 and 13:30 on the Saturday. Not sure where I'll park as the superstore opposite has reduced the free time to 2 hours!

Hi Alec, I arrived at Warwick Mill for the show around 1.00 pm and stayed for a few hours before heading home, I'm sure that I
would of spotted you as I know what you look like from the screenshot of Rufus and your goodself.
I got back from the Keighley show around 6.30pm and enjoyed the show and meeting Robert and Mike again, they told me it was
very hectic on the Saturday and was surprised at the car park being quite full when I arrived around 11.45am this morning.
It was busy again today and had many people having a look at what was on offer and some took a card which that gave them the
site details and I'm sure many will be having a look at the various forums that are available on here.

Thanks again Mike and Robert for carrying on the Northern end of the UKTS operation. The logistics don't stack up for us all to make the trek north but your efforts are appreciated.

If you could ever persuade the Barrow show to go back to the spring then that would be a viable trip for me again. Thoroughly enjoyed that weekend up in Barrow.
Kindest regards

hi, first posting. me the wife and two boys were there the other week. we found our way on to the site via the card we picked up. took some messing with the old MSTS version but weve got it working after update 1.4/bin then finally found the tool edit page and downloaded an engine! took me a bit of retro windows string editing but the lad was well chuffed. im up very early with the kids and the free downloads work fine at 5.30am! no complaints here. cheers nige, :D brandon and harry

ps .picked a £7 version from a pc games shop. have yet to see any 2013 2014 versions anywhere!!!

Hi Nige, welcome to the forum and you will find that we are all here to help people like your good self who are just starting out on
the wonderful world of Train Simulating.
As regards TS2013/2014, you can get a copy of the latest version on Amazon.co.uk for around £19.79 but before buying a copy you must
remember that it is a totally different Simulator than MSTS which started life in 2001.
To run TS2013/2014 you need a better computer than the one that MSTS needs and must have a Graphics Card that will give the display
that the Simulator offers.
My new computer is two years old now and could run TS2014 but as I only wanted to run MSTS the Graphics card is priced at around
£50.00 but for TS2014 you may have to pay over £250.00, the best thing before buying a copy is find out the system requirements
needed either on here or on the official Railworks Site.

Hi Nige, following on from my earlier post and to make sure that you have installed MSTS into the correct location, I will below leave
a link to an excellent site which covers how to install depending on your operating system.
If you are using Windows 7 you must follow the instructions exactly and not simply put in the two discs which uses the default settings
as you did with Windows XP because if you do you will end up with loads of problems that prevent MSTS working.

Hi Nige, glad to be of help as my new computer came only with Windows 7 and I was used to XP and so as
I kept my old XP licenced disc I was able to get it Dual Booted and so I can choose the system I want to use.
I looked into buying a laptop but to get one suitable for MSTS I would have to get one built at one of the
specialist shops as most commercial ones are not even up to what is required for MSTS let alone TS2014.
As you cannot P.M. anybody yet, you could go on the TS2014 Help For Beginners Form and post your computer
specs on there and see if yours is up to the job.
