Lovely Ruth - takes me back to my childhood visits to the Cambridgeshire countryside.
Alan

My railway photos are back - you can access them from https://plus.google.com/photos/10506703 ... banner=pwa . Lots of steam and early diesels from the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Hi Ruth
Love the screenshots, you have made a superb job on the mill and the station hotel at St Ives, my wife reconised the mill without a second glance. I live in St Ives so I see them daily, of course the route is now covered by the Guided Bus Route. Any idea when the route will be released?

I feel I should make clear, with all this praise, that some is due to cunningn. While I have modelled some areas, and I set up these screenshots and made the film, the whole of Cambridge (including Spillers Mill) and St Ives has been modelled by cunningn.

I have put most of my effort into research for the whole route, learning 3D modelling, and creating the Newmarket Branch, as well as short sections at Histon and Oakington.

Cunningn has enhanced what work I did on the St Ives branch as well as creating the route to Royston and the Ely-Sutton-St Ives line.

What an interesting Thread Ruth.

Thanks for sharing your (and Cunningn's  ) efforts on this interesting Route, looking forward to watching your progress and well done.
Rob.

Likewise Mike, I live in St. Ives too, and actually drive for Stagecoach along the Busway!.

One minor point, although in no way meant as a criticism, is that the font for the Station nameboards would look much better if it were Gill Sans...

Very Best Wishes,
Bob.

I've been working hard recently on a website for the Cambridge Branch Lines route, and here it is:

Do have a peek and leave a nice comment if you like it... :-)

Coming along a real treat Ruth

Like the website, nicely laid out.
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

Thanks... having made a lot of the content for another purpose it seemed only sensible to put it online somewhere. Spent some time today doing, then redoing the gallery for it. I think what's there will do (though it needs more pics putting up!) :-)

Plus Neil & I have started using a bug database - mantisbt - to manage issues on the route. It seems to be working fine so far.

This may be what you are asking about:

Found on the UKTS Front page under the "RW Quick Picks" tab.
