New rules, new ideas. Geoff's first route building challenge was a tremendous success with some outstanding results - will you have a go this time?

Hi Stephen

This link should take you to the download page. You may have to wait for Steam to get itself sorted out before the file downloads.

Hi Geoff

Just tried again, still takes me back to the home page.

How does Steam sort itself out? Seems to me like nothing's happened.

Hi Stephen

Steam is still a bit of a mystery to me but I seem to end up with the right result after clicking on a few things. Unfortunately I cannot tell you exactly what to do but the link above should take you to the page as shown below. I clicked on the Install Game button and waited and eventually the pack loaded. There was no visual indication that it was loading but I could see activity on my router so clearly something was coming in. Just to confuse matters, there was a Steam client update loaded as well.

What I did was open the above page in Steam, then click install game, and finally open the "my games" tab when there was the option to do so.

All sorted :)

Just found it on Steam itself and clicked on it, then installed it from there.

Cheers guys :)

Without wanting to sound rude or pendantic or condesending or anything like that, but anything "Steam" related should be done through the application itself and NOT your common garden browser. Purchasing / adding to cart / installing addons should always be initiated via the application, as whilst things might work under a normal browser it's generally far, far smoother to use the proper client. ( I speak with 6 years of Steam usage  )

Andy, ordinarily I'd agree with you and I usually purchase all my DLC through the Steam app, however with the free DLC it simply refuses to work, therefore I resort to using the Steam store through my web browser

Just to remind everybody that a manual comes with the Asset Pack which can be accessed from the Tools & Docs tab on the opening RailWorks screen. Under 'Documents' click on the Open Folder button and look for the 'UK Buildings Volume 1.pdf' file.

Oh aren't you a clever boy! It's almost like you knew something was afoot. :D

I'm absolutely in love with your blocks and walls, by the way. Don't know what I ever did without them!

Cheers

Me? know something?

glad you like Bob.
I wanted to make lots of other shapes too but just ran out of time, the foundations just seems logical though. I will watch what folks do with them and I'm sure that will lead me onto make new shapes.
