Hi Mike,

Not sure if it's been requested before - do you think the convert to / from DDS tool could have bulk conversion functionality added in a future release? I'm currently looking at the prospect of editing and then repeatedly tweaking a large number of textures and the ability to bulk convert them back and forth between DDS and TgPcDx would be a massive time-saver.

I understand if there's not enough demand for it to warrant the work though, it's just laziness on my part more than anything

Hi JB,

I don't think I could manage that without a complete rewrite of the code. At the moment as you know it is only intended for opening/converting one file at a time and changing this would be a lot of work. I will put it on a list of 'nice things to have', but don't think it is likely to happen in the short term as I am shortly going to have radio-therapy daily for 8 weeks, and probably will not be feeling like programming much :-(

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the reply. It's no problem, like I said it was just to speed things up. I'm sure I can promise myself an edible incentive to do it manually!

Keep up the good work :)

Hi Mike, Could you implement a feature where it can make me a bacon butty and a cup of tea after a hard days work? Or failing that placing Ai automatically to all the right timetables in the scenario editor, on the route of my choice. :D  Sorry, couldn't resist. If I think of anything sensible I'll post it.

How about a feature which would automatically send your wife a message to her iPad telling here that you required the above beverages and that it was about time she brought them up to your games room :-)

"Sorry Rob, but no one has worked out how to make thumbnail pictures of assets in RailWorks, (I suppose you could load all of your rolling-stock into RailWorks and make your own thumbnails, but this would be somewhat time consuming ).

If someone works out how to automate the making of thumbnail pictures, then I could add this to RW_Tools."

I am new to TS2013 and RW_tools. I discovered the thumbnails file on the RW_Tools website and can now see pictures of a lot of European Rolling Stock in the Asset Viewer. I discovered that RailWorks has a screen shot capture function on the HUD that can generate a thumbnail size .JPG file. I have tryed to rename this thumbnail file to match the rollingstock naming convention similar to the thumbnail files style that I already have loaded into RW_Tools thumbnail folder. But I am failing to see my thumbnails that I have made from Railworks screen capture function so far. Some of my American rolling stock displays .DDS files already in the Asset Viewer but not all of my rolling stock seem to have a .DDS that will display.

Can someone tell me how the thumbnails in the website Thumbnails file were constructed? I would not mind attempting to build and share thumbnails if I knew the process.
